Resolution of the cliffhanger: super cool fight scene then... the... ... it was a dream... ahaha... really, anything can be a cliffhanger anywhere. Drop any shocking scene you want... next episode, it's a dream. ^^ Still help to understand that the protagonist will have a kind of inferiority complex with the bad guy.
It's more... if you use to watch this kind of dramas (kairos, sisyphus, memories of alhambra, W, nine time travel, 365 repeat the year, Signal, Alice, Circle, Train, etc...)... Then of course you want to watch Grid, as it's on the same list. And it doesn't matter so much if it's good or bad.
No one can convince me about this now. The 9th episode happenings had me crack up so much lmao. What could have…
Woh woh woh woh wooooh... No one want to convince you! ahah! My main problem is the grid. Because it's called Grid. (or Zero previously). But except to be just the thing they need to start, I really don't see what the grid has so important. It could be anything else for now (A antenna protecting earth from a cockreach invasion). I had a nice hypothesis about the concept (the Grid was what allow time travel in a time zero world), but looks like my idea isn't the one used in the drama. I still hope for a final twist about the Grid in the last episode. I shouldn't hope too much...
A bit flat episode 1-5. Clear concepts but we don't see the point of this story. Exciting and fast paced episode 6-9. But confusing, and difficult to stand concepts.

Yeah but if we just think it in a basic way: If they come back in a time where they "replace themselves", it means : they can not choose where they appear (when obviously the device is able to let them choose not only the time but also the space, so first illogism in the concept).
Then, their new self (in the temporal boucle) is erased and replaced with the time travel being. We see they don't remember the life of the new timeline, they just have the memories of their old timeline. As a example, the scene where SH mother tell him is past story. A bit illogical and on-the-nose dialogs (we guess the self of this timeline already know that and she told him many times). But ok, as we audience, we need to know that, there is this exposition scene on the nose.
THEN when SH leave this time... we have to suppose that the normal self of this timeline come back. But what this SH know now ? If we stick to the situation, he know nothing. It's like he was in coma. So the time traveler SH live months then quit... The new self SH should then have like... a giant life hole. Many months passed and he know nothing about what he have done. A kind of memory loss. As it was done by the time traveler SH. OF COURSE... all this is put UNDER THE RUG by the screenwriter.
So, as I now say often... korean screenwriters aren't good about this kind of plot-line. There is always a point when they prefer to focus on something else and forget the sci-fi logic. Or maybe worst: they don't set the sci-fi logic first and just make it on the way as they need. As weird it can looks, I'm a bit ok with that. Because a story need twists and emotions first. But when it becomes too messy, really, I reach my limits and can't believe in the story anymore.
I think it's a bait to catch the ghost because they put a tracking device in his clothes. I don't think they are…
I like this episode because it's not really confusion, just it goes a bit too fast. But I prefer fast paced stories, I'm ok with that! It's thrilling, it makes I like it and can spend some time to better understand or rewatch. What I don't like is the really confusing situations, like beginning of episode 7 with the weird non-revelation about SH not being the son of the janitor... Or the whole TKEM drama, lol!!!
Gosh! My favorite screenwriters. Empress Ki ones. Incarnation of money, Giant, History of the salaryman. AND.... with Jong Suk?!! wow! With the director of "While You Were Sleeping"?!! I can't see a way how this drama won't be great. There will be a lot of good comedy I'm sure. Just the title give an idea of that.

Thanks, good resume. I don't like the thing about "replace themselve", not accurate in this kind of SF. I feel it's a short-cut to not complicate too much and focus more on the other points. So I can understand why the writer makes that. Now, we can just accept it's the rules of her universe and stick with that. "can not move beyond my origin point". It was something I guessed before but without any proof. Or maybe there was an hidden clue in the drama before that made me think that, without remember what.
The problem is I can't see a woman fall in love with Manok. So maybe. But now I think more about that... Manok is a criminal but he don't look like a raper. Or I missed something before. I don't remember the list of his previous crimes.

Thanks for the review.

Plus, we have the time to understand all. It's clear and clean.
