For now Joo Dan Tae is main role. As well as Seo-Jin and Soo-Ryun. Yoon-Hee more like support role. Other characters support role. A bit less for the ones we see more.

Barely 3 minutes from the beginning: Bugs in the nose, hands in the piss, the scriptwriter sends everything she has dirty to rot the new life of the characters. Joo Dan-Tae is eating hard. Seo-Jin who has to deal with an inmate singer, beaten up, forced to sing.
Notice that bastard Ma Ri when she call Sang Ah by her prisoner number instead of her name.
Lee Gyu Jin : too much good scenes to report all ! Soooo good character.
I also noted the best scenes of Seo-Jin. When she goes nuts, or plays the nut. She make crazy her roommates, so fun. Great acting as usual. But it need also good scenes, well writed like that to give her this opportunity. However, I have a translation error in my subtitle. It says she has 2 more years in prison. But it looks like it's more like 2 years suspended.
A new dull guy comes in to replace the old dull Logan Lee. The scriptwriter really wants to have a dull guy in the story!
Seok Kyung takes her father's side, she quotes his "beneficial" life lessons. Joo Dan-Tae is risking a lot to take over.
Yeon-Hee doesn't have much time, the least exploited character. In the end, I don't know why she is free.
Finally, every season of The Penthouse starts with someone being murdered! But we also have a flashback of Je Ni's father... There was someone else killed in the penthouse square.

Just watched 1st episode. I knew it was gonna be great but not that great! It is ultra-condensed, it never stops. From the beginning, the first 5 minutes are anthological. The rest in spoiler tag.

I never fastforward any drama. I would rather drop the drama than have to do that.
I will watch Mouse when I have time. It looks thrilling, full of plot-twists.

Hi, it's probably more a production problem.

I should have save it, I don't remember the text. But look like it was a good one. A joke coming from the famous maggot scene I guess. And the kiss in last episode. I don't see how something funny about fictional characters is offensive when the drama made sure this weird situation happens. But I know sometimes, mods don't loose much times. Probably, if they think the post could make a kind of battle, they erase it. I don't have problem with that, I had a few others joke deleted before.

A bad joke about characters ? You lack sens of dark-comedy. ^^
I don't remember what I wrote exactly, but I doubt there was insults into.

The only area in which the writer can have winning points is character design. Maybe the reason she has an award nomination.
Otherwise, she is incompetent at writing a screenplay. You can show this drama to any screenwriter in the world, they will tell you the same thing. Assuming that person can already manage to keep the episode going for more than 10 minutes.
Obviously, you are not able to understand how prodigious Park Hye Ryun's screenplay is, especially on episode 1 of "I hear your voice" or "While you were sleeping". Your credibility is below absolute zero, to compare a pile of crap like episode 1 of hospital playlist to that. Come back in 20 years, when you will have understood. However, I might not be alive then.

I dropped ep 4. By reading comments, except JJ, look like the drama isn't more funny.

SOL are already boring, but when the screenplay is so bad than Hospital Playlist, it become hell.

It's mixed. I think overall, the ending is rather happy.
But, you get a situation so moving at the end, you will cry. It's beautiful.

Kdrama don't fall far from truth.
By experience, be the nice guy = be friendzoned.
And be the nice guy don't mean... love from the girl, or even, love in short !

Shining Inheritance : Moon Chae Won was so pretty at these times.
I can't believe the ML prefer the FL !

Yes, it's a weird thing. It's also the style of this writer. She go in very flashy, cringe and "move you with easy recipe" things. It's a long time since I watched this drama, but I remember the conflict between the 2 male lead was fun and very intense. And the 2 guys was jerks, SML even more stupid one : he try to seduce the FL, but it's obvious there is no chance, and he try it so badly. Still, he insist, he's abusive. And all this mess end to make a lot of fun. Lee Min Ho was a bit more expressive than in others dramas he made, too. PSH is very good as a ingenue girl (big fishy eyes opens during a kiss). So, it's was a fun drama to watch. What I mean : it's wasn't boring ! Nothing is worst than a boring drama. And there is a lot of boring dramas, with better directing and plot (on the paper only) than The Heirs.

Ah! I don't care about the 900y goblin and 19y schoolgirl. No, it's just this drama don't have a story, conflict, and even comedy rely on forced comedy. Deadly boring.
I don't say the writer is always bad at comedy, she put nice comedy in TKEM, On-air or secret garden. But in Goblin, it's was just fake and boring comedy,
Thanks to the director, and some striking scenes, this drama was a success.
