One of the significant improvment of Season 2 : Background music. I listened various bgm from Season 1, but in season 2, they changed team. So here, we get the same team of musicians who performed "The last empress" BGM. It's why all is more powerfull, harsh, shocking, stunning, amazing, awesome. Since episode 1 of season 1, this drama is an endless ramp where each new episode is better than the previous one. It's like... we are climbing stairs to the top of the Penthouse. :-D
Hi, we have a lot in common about screenwriter. ;-) Song Ji Na : don't forget "Sandglass", her best. (unless Eyes Of Dawn was better, but I didnt watched it yet).
This is one of the most interesting show airing now, Before u watch this is SCIENCE FICTION, most people don't…
I think some viewers are disappointed by illogical scenes. And even for a science fiction story, that shouldn't happen. I would add: for a science fiction story, it definitely has not to happen even more than in other fiction! However, the script is very strong when it comes to science fiction. The flaws concern scenes at the margins, and for a certain number of these scenes, they are not flaws but voluntary effects linked to temporal alteration phenomena, or objectives that we don't know about. Finally, some scenes are badly done (stunt on green screen), it is better to laugh about it. I even suppose that a comic effect is sought, or a reference to another work, since the drama is full of references to other SF movies.
After 6 eps, there are still directional decisions I don't enjoy but the story is getting more interesting. I…
It depends on the audience. For me, the huge dose of mystery and rhythm is what got me hooked immediately. Now that you start to understand the plot better and some of the puzzles are solved, you can go back to the first episodes and see that they were just as good. Everything was planned from the start, and each play, each scene has a meaning that is revealed later. And it's far from over, there's still a lot of content from the first episodes that is still unexplained.
Vagabond didn't really make the action right. There is big holes and misteps during action scenes. But actions…
Look, first scene of episode 6 : it's the first time we SEE the timeshift ability. But it's sure Seo Hae used it during 2nd scene of the drama, on the train roof scene. At this point, many people said it was "plot-hole". But in real, a scene showing a juxtaposition of Troops and Seo Hae in two differents times. So, she watch at the ground, and we guess she see nothing in her time, it's why she is delivered and make photoshop session.
As many details like that accumulate, I dig (I'm not alone, I go on another blog/forum where people dissect scenes). It's probably why I like so much this drama, dispite some flaws, or scenes looking like flaws but maybe not.
I already said that, but I choosed to trust the writing instead of point out plot-holes. You can rewatch the scene episode 4, in the appartment, you will see a lot of crazy details here. People watch at the clock (but you don't see directly the clock, you see it only before). It's a detail you don't understand when watching without concentration. Then the troops give assault. It look like Seo Hae had some instinct or saw the enemy through the windows, but in real, something else hapenned. She knew this after watching the clock. If you look the clock, the time isn't realist before and after, there is a gap. So probably a timeshifting phenomena.
Episode 6 was a marked improvement though some problems still lingered. The whole set up of sending in Park Shin…
It's common to many kdrama. In a way, they do that like they did from other style. Let's say, traditionnal old school drama, the basic situation is unbelievable, because there is always tons of characters, always connected "by chance". As a spectator, we need to accept that.
During episode 6, there is a scene I hardly accept: Seo Hae is wounded by sniper. But as it's a .50 barret82 rifle, I can't believe she just get a light wound like that. This kind of rifle destroy your leg. So let's say here, the bullet just scratched the leg, and didnt pass througt. Luck ^^
This drama has made me realise why I hate watching airing dramas as opposed to binge watching. Most K-dramas can't…
There is almost no filler in Sisyphus. You can analyse scenes and ask yourself, why this guy say this, why this happens, and it's connected. What is the meaning of the scene, what information it give to us. Like into movies, scenes need to be not useless. Only episode with filler is episode 5. More slow episode. Here fillers are romance scenes. I didn't rewatched it yet, and can't say if it's fillers, necessary scenes, why how.
As this drama is 20 episodes, made in 16, script don't have time to loose time. But then, it's possible for time reason, they get an episode 5, and need to make it for episode duration. Then extends some scenes or add a song. It's very difficult to write a plot driven story, and accomodate with time duration of episode, and always get a end episode chliffanger.
I can advice you my favorite Show since years : The Penthouse. Here, the pace is fast and crazy like hell, the plot move faster than what you always except. Tons of twists and harsh scenes. Always shocking. If you prefer SF/Mystery, then 365 repeat the year. Pace is frenetic.

I have the same feeling. But I'm not sure about some points. During appartment scene episode 4, ICB chief order "don't kill them". But episode 6 they really want to kill Seo Hae. Also, we don't know if they wait or if Seo Hae use a timeshift ability (roof chase, episode 2).
- Amnesia.
or
- Birth secret and twin sister.
:-)
But... we know you can't... :-DDDDD
