I am just ranting here. Thinking about it more, the bastards who tortured A Zan not only physically but emotionally with some girl's body similar to Ran Ran, should suffer and die a hundred-fold over. Such inhumane creatures...
Its really heartbreaking, just when A Zan got back up on his feet again, ready to get back to a normal life... if only they had left Eastern Country a few days earlier, none of these would happen...
The ending is so bittersweet, sad yet peaceful. This is an ending unlike any other. The couple never separated and deeply love each other till the very end and even got married but their mental trauma remains and they have no choice but to live (or die) together with it. I can't say for sure if this is a sad ending or a happy ending, because its kinda difficult to describe and either would seem somewhat superficial. Its such a deep drama on so many levels, so I guess its really up to the audience's interpretation.
Adding to this, A Zan and Ran Ran is such a beautiful couple with phenomenal chemistry. I hope CZY and LJ can collaborate again.

Not exactly a fan but as someone who watch a good number of her dramas, I must say she is one of the few actresses (aside from my favorite Li Landi) who can act very naturally on screen with a nice, unique voice that never gets dubbed over by others and that shows she got real talent. I find her face sweet as well like a little kitty. lol So I don't understand all these hate and criticism that aren't even constructive
I can't watch todays and tomorrow episodes. Really not liking this angsty, distancing they're doing and LZ giving her the cold shoulder even though I know his purpose is to protect her from getting hurt. I'll wait till they back together to continue watching lol
People should stop blaming FL, on top of everything going on with her mom and Li Zan, she just receive news that she could go blind without a cornea transplant and even with transplant success rate is low. She knows LZ wants to go back to Eastern Country, so she probably doesn't want to hold him back. By texting him not to contact her again, this could be her attempt to hide her condition from him and not distract or worry him while hes there. Both of them hide things from each other out of love and care, aint just one-sided on her end. It will resolve itself eventually as from trailers she will return to East Country probably missing him and wants to see him in her last moments before losing her vision and all. There will be another emotional and heartful confessions between them again when they reunite I'm sure.
The more lovey dovey and sweet our couple are the more I'm afraid this will have a sad ending... the new year just started, I really hope they don't break our hearts already

I'm fine with their casual everyday wears since thats what normal people would wear as well and it make sense. I do hope we get to see them get married and SR in a beautiful and fancy dress though.
I really enjoy this drama, it reminds me a lot of the old TVB costume dramas from a decade ago. Slice of everyday ups and down, ancient family life and romance along with sisterhood and brotherhood (or bro-in-law alliance in this case) lol Although 3rd couple are advertised as main leads but I like that they're not always the focus and other couples has shares of their own story too which are all interesting. Not to mention everyone look good together visually as the title of the drama suggest. Haven't seen something like this in awhile.
Most of the time, the FL get saved by ML every few episodes, even though she frustratingly lies about everything so he wont get involve. Shes so stubborn and determined but all her plans never successful goes thru unless she get help from SML or ML. For a short series, it was getting too repetitive
I don't like that XL loves JQL but then he thinks she is too valuable a person and won't ever let her go back home to her family. Like he expect her to put him first all the time just because he thinks he doing so much for her sake with his heart while keeping her captive. Thats just selfish. JQL was very reasonable when she analyzes all the issues between them but here he goes making these idealistic promises based on emotion and then couldn't keep them because he has no real plan or power to tackle those issues.
I hope XL's character improve later on along with them developing a more mutually mature relationship.
Sheng Yi a real piece of work. She got secretly married again because she knew Mu Dan wouldn't agree. She rather trust her cheating, abusive ex husband than the sisters who gone thru hardship with her. All out of pure loneliness/desire for a man, she did something ultimately stupid. She deserves whats coming at this point.
Like everyone else, I look forward to second season but I hope Wei Gong didn't really die. Wei gong too good and too strategically, wise a character to just kill off. If hes not in season 2, I don't know how it'll turn out, its like losing a whole dynamic chara. Also sad that everyone forgot about Xu Qi'An, so hope it will be just temporary for a small part of the next season.
Oh no wtf please dont tell me that mother-in-law will force an abortion on her. That is so vicious and evil. Even if she thinks that baby does not belong to her son, she couldve just make them divorce.
I'm kinda afraid of watching this drama with previews of what seem like a toxic relationship and a possible death of their child...yikes but I really like Joseph so I will probably tune in anyway. Just hope it won't be too tragic
Let see what Xu Qi An will request as reward for defeating the Dharma. Hopefully he didn't get the wrong idea from Princess Lin An cuz im kinda sensing some misunderstanding there despite Lin An saying she made it clear to him. 😂
