How hard would it be for Kim to just fricking man up and say "I think I remember you from 10 years ago. We used to play soldier together." instead of trying to be Sun's secret angel.

LOL. Now that I think of it, Sun did flick water on Khim 2 episodes ago and we got nothing out of that. We need a better water flicker. One with an ulterior motive who knows how to press the advantage home.

To be fair, if I flicked water on a 17 year old and then made joking comments about his penis, I'd be in danger of criminal charges, so that wasn't exactly an innocent flick. LOL. But I'm fine with those fans missing out. This series on the other hand, is in desperate need of some flicker to show up in the bathroom. The only intimacy we've gotten with the main couple is a sponge bath after drunken vomit.

Yeah. I don't want to imply that I'm wishing this series would turn into a raunchy lakorn. It was nice to know at least one of these characters realizes that one of the benefits of having a boyfriend is having someone to have sex with. For all we can tell about Khim, he's just happy to have a little friend like he played with 10 years ago. It would be nice to know that Rain was a human who could get turned on by someone as for all we know, he has no libido and thinks getting together with Phayu would mean that they could play marbles and hopscotch again like they were little kids, before the Phayu's father started turning him into the house slave. If Sun ever had a sexual thought, it would probably kill him. It would be nice to have at least one of the characters not be a robot.

One weekend, Rain lies to his parents saying that he has a rugby match and takes Phayu to the villa to express his love once and for all, but as they open the door they hear the distinct sound of Phayu's father shouting repeatedly "who's the master, now!"

Its a university orchestra. By this time, they should have been able to hand out sheet music, spend three hours practicing and have something passable for a "rugby match". This isn't exactly their debut at Carnegie Hall and most of the fans will be too drunk by that time to notice. LOL

I think the series would have been better if it weren't a dream and they ended up having sex at that point. But then people would hate on Rain for having sex with an attractive, available guy, who he didn't have feelings for. It would have made him a more realistic character and less saintly. Although, given that this is BL, it probably would have ended with Rain telling Shun that "I'm sorry. I'm not into guys. Even though there is this one guy I like." So at least we avoided that.

I'm going to guess that the Master is buying the villa so he can sneak away to have dalliances with Phayu's dad. LOL

I don’t know which is unrealustic. That the rugby team wants classical music at its match. Or that the orchestra only has this one piece in its repertoire.

You mean like every Asian drama with a gay character where it didn't end up with one or both of them dying before BL came along? A twist here would be the hetero guy never finds a girlfriend and the gay boy meets a nice boy and lives happily ever after.

The best way to keep Kim safe is to order him to do unsafe things. He's a very disobedient. Kamol should demand that he attend events and he'll say "nah, I want to stay home." Instead of telling him "Don't answer the door for anyone" they should have told him that it was his duty to answer all doors. "Whatever you do, Kim, don't stand further than 6 feet away from the tiger cage."

Yeah, if you haven't watched him in Y-Destiny, you might want to track down his episode. He spent the hour walking around shirtless most of the time. He's a looker.

Yeah. If they are going to market it as "based on a true story," they need to keep it grounded. So far, I think that's been o.k. The principal, for instance, might be pushing for his star student to promote his school, but they haven't made him a caricature of a principal...like say, the Chancellor in My Secret Love. The OG premise I had read also said something like "while competing with each other, they both realized new feelings" or something like that. I hope that isn't the case, because if it turns out that X is another "I didn't realize that I liked you until I got jealous" seme, I'm going to be very disappointed in his characterization.

Bever's X reminds me a lot of that character Up played in those make up commercials a few years back. He's just so smooth. Toy reminds me a lot of sSing back when sSing used to put on Blue Shorts. What I like about Q is that although he thinks he's a "loser", they haven't made him sullen or depressed. I don't think they need a second couple or a set of humorous wingmen to make this work, for a change. TGIF kind of killed off my interest in Blue Short BL comedies. Second Chance and Friend Forever were o.k., but I can't remember much about them. This one might work.

X doesn’t mess around. Target spotted. Line ID obtained. Mother and friends on his side. Scenario selected where target will need to check in with him. That said, he might want to take back that comment about his target’s penis size. That might have been a bridge too far.

Not only were Tee, Pratt and Bigboom in College, Tee was old enough to decide to book a room in a resort and hook up with a stranger to help get over an Ex (Cupid Coach) and Bigboom was a post uni medical resident along on a field trip.

Looking at the preview next week, it looks like when Mek comes back from abroad, he starts dating Kim again. Which is what would have happened if they had talked to each other and agreed to either go on hiatus or try an LDR, except that neither of them would have spent the prior 2 years heartbroken and depressed. Great plan there, Kim. "Just in case we end up heartbroken in the future, I'm going to take the bull by the horns and guarantee that we'll be heartbroken right now!"

The first 1/2 of episode 9 seemed like something that happened because some sponsor said "sure, I'll fund your show. By the way, I have a nephew who's an actor. Why don't you have him play a role?" I know, the actor who played Krathing has been in other things, but the whole thing made little sense. We already had Vee get jealous and fight off a rival last episode. Nuea has never mentioned an interest in boxing, and suddenly, he's the leader of the school's boxing club. That said, any time we get to see War 1/2 naked is a plus, even if he's being harassed in the shower.

My guess is that someone who's read the novels will now pipe in to chastise me about this unnecessary character and let me know that Krathing is an important character in 3 of the other novels set at this university and that they were squealing away at the Easter egg.

Hugo did not take Hin’s rejection well. I’m not sure what his endgame is. If Hin hasn’t fallen for him by now, he never will. Plus, Hin’s a liar and of course he’s going to be sleeping around again.

I know this isn’t the best series, and who knows how long it will take to tell it. But Hing Kong BL is rare. I hope fans give it a try and remember to like and comment on YouTube.
