I think we're supposed to be confused, which is good. I don't 100% trust Choke, but his accounting of Sat's life is really all we have to go on. Sat became a football stud, transferred to a private school, and lost touch with Choke. Looks like Top and Choke managed to become friends even though Sat was very awful to Choke and Top was little more than a bully to Choke. That they lost touch is kind of backed up by the fact that Sat needed to call his mother to find out where Choke lived and his number wasn't in his phone any longer. I think Choke honestly didn't recognize Sat when he came to his house. (Although maybe he's made his own wish on his own magic Gundun and knew this day would arrive. LOL Two can play at the wish game.)

On the other hand, Choke seems to know details about Sat's life that don't correspond with someone who he hasn't spoken to in years. Like the idea that Sat has a drinking problem.

Ugh. Can we have episode 2 now to clear this up. I think Timeline2 Sat isn't a nice guy so the more Timeline1 Sat learns, the sadder he'll become.

Yeah. I'm finding it hard to believe that no-one is interested in "boring old Choke". No one ever noticed that he's hot. Just said "oh, that kid. He doesn't travel much and just wanders around shirtless all the time showing off his hot chest and abs. I'm not interested in that." Given the story he gave, its possible that Choke's boyfriend is actually Top.

IDK. Its kind of important to clear up whose cell phone those messages were on and whether they were addressed to Choke or to Sat himself. I really hate this show's distribution method that only allows me to watch it one time.

It's possible. There is kind of this issue of world building with this series. Sat is in the same world as the other day boys. But he's been the only one whose love story involves magic. Does magic exist in this world? i don't think it does, so its possible that this story is all in his head. If magic does exist, why isn't anyone else using it to advance their stories? Like if I lived in a world where Gunduns could control the future, I'd certainly want to buy one. LOL

Yeah. Choke might be up to something because I could see him holding a big grudge about the way Sat treated him in order to be popular. Even though he's a hot hot hot young man now, he'd be a pushover to be happy to take Sat back in his life so easily like that. Sat used his magic Gundan to humiliate its maker. Even though Sat's only 11 at the time, that's a pretty douche move. Even 11 year olds would know that's wrong.

Yeah. It seems that he does have the memories of the 18 year old self. Like he briefly remembered hooking up with that guy. But he doesn’t remember other experiences. Like how he’s supposed to feel about Top. Or not being friends with Choke.

I mean, look, he's only 11 and time/body transfers are probably new to him, but before he started fiddling with Choke, Sat probably should have tried to find out if he himself was already dating. Probably figured he wasn't because he found out that he's the kind of guy who fools around in bathrooms....but just because you do that, doesn't mean you aren't already seeing someone. LOL.

So his role was to deliver an athletic cup and notice that Bbomb was there and look somewhat concerned. I hope they paid him well.

Have to admit, this series is becoming a bit of a slog. I was expecting a standard “2 moons” style series in which a bunch of engineering friends end up dating boys by the end of the semester. Instead, we have a SOTUS style series, in which there is one couple with some hints of other pairs that never materialize. Jack and Singh might as well be played by Oujun and Fiat and Kheam and Ball could be replaced by Guy and Nammon. The problem is that either you find Jin and Bbomb interactions kilig or there’s nothing else going on. The characters seem to be animated when there are girls around more than they get excited to be around each other. Kheam could be interesting, and Kong certainly has some sexual charisma, but it doesn’t seem to be directed anywhere. The fan girls, fujoshis, and screechy gay characters at this fictional university are enthralled by the two least interesting guys on campus.

I missed Boss. Where was he?

It’s possible that he wanted the answer to be “no”. It’s often the straight-laced nerds who have the biggest kinks.

Fearless Predictions:
*Despite not wanting to be an actor any more, Oh-aew will land the first paying acting gig, which will cause Teh to melt down again.
*Still think its going to be Q and Oh-aew as a couple for awhile. Q was wearing the famous red, white and blue BL shirt. Oh-aew was also wearing the same color scheme. Lordy, they looked like Americans on the 4th of July and there will be fireworks between them.
*The reason why Jai says he never wants to be an actor is that he experienced the same thing that Oh-aew did during a casting. They are teasing us with the idea that he's an interloper. He'll turn out to be more like Bas from Season 1. More of a friend to Oh-Aew than a lover.

Yep. Kaeng presented as an hypersexy gay male always on the lookout for a hook-up because he found out that Puth likes guys like that. But Puth, like a LOT of men, looks down on "the sluts" he sleeps with and wants to marry the Virgin Mary. Puth is being hypocritical to the max here since he sleeps around like nobody's business, but has a nice self-serving rationalization for it. So Kaeng changed himself in a way that actually made it easier for Puth to continue to reject him and look down on him as someone he doesn't want to be with. I'm glad they cleared this up, although I'm wondering if Kaeng is going to ditch his fish-net shirts and and start wearing comfy shoes now that he doesn't need them any longer.

Was amazed that all these siblings seemed to be around the same age. Mom must have been perpetually pregnant for about 5 years straight. Now I’m wondering how she had time to court 4 different men at during that same time.

Wasn’t there a kind of famous Filipino comedy film about a decade ago about a cursed woman who kept causing accidental deaths fir each of her 7 husbands? Lol

IDK. Absolute monogamy is kind of the BL thing. As for me, I’m kind of hoping the main couple gets erased somehow and the focus shifts to Keam and Aim, who it turns out are high priests of some kind of cult that requires blood sacrifice of young men after their first same sex encounter. They’ve been luring Jin and Bbomb into an affair because Moloch hungers for their souls. Sadly they don’t let me write these things, so it’ll turn out that Keam has been in love with Ball since he saw him playing with a kitten in the hallway of their high school and I’ll have been tricked into watching 2 Moons again. Like my imaginary Keam better than the one I fear we’ll be getting.

I hope next week they start moving the side couples along a bit. I still don’t see Jack or Singh as a couple, despite the fandom hope.

Who was the skateboarding engineering student? I dint recognize him as a character we’ve seen before.

My goodness. We made it though 1/2 a first semester at uni and there isn't a campus moon competition, hazing, school smock, gear...and when kids want to join clubs they aren't made to do ice-breakers. What universities are these?

Oab with decent hair for a change. Gosh, he's really become handsome since Hormones. He's probably into Teh...but its kind of hard to tell. I hope its not so straightforward as Oh-Aew hooks up with Q and Teh with Jai just because those were the first two guys they happened to interact with.

Ooh, its set in 2021 and will go on for a few years. So we'll see what life is going to be like in 2024. Hopefully there will be flying cars and personal robots. And self-tying shoes. Gotta be self-tying shoes.

Anyway, I find the transition to a new director just fine. This was probably the most anticipated first episode of any BL series since Season 2 of Love Sick and I think they landed it.

His mom doesn't know. Or didn't know. Its not like Pi has been discussing his love for Nan at the table. I think Pi was right not to have that discussion with his mom, because he had just been Friendzoned by Nan. She would want to know who this "Special Someone" is and the last thing Pi would have wanted to discuss at that moment is his failure with Nan.

Pi doesn't really like himself all that much. Part of that might be because he doesn't feel like he measures up to his brother and he is very hard on himself because of that. He's trying to become perfect in every way probably because he feels that being gay is going to disappoint other people. He's very much driven by a fear of failure (he admits as much to Mork in the rain). Yeah, his parents seem to be relatively hands off with their children (otherwise Duen would be ostracized from the family), but Pi can't know how they will react for sure. So he's transferring his feelings of disappointment with himself to them. Its not that uncommon. He wants to be perfect in every way except that one way, and its frustrating him to no end that he isn't capable of doing that.
