Aww, my ChrisJeno and PaperFah heart. M & Near, you're falling behind! But they never explained how Fah ended…
I think they missed the part where the doctor walks in and says "He's lucky to be alive. Its not often people survive (falls down stairs, slips in the bathtub, collisions with taxi cabs, pipe bombs mysteriously placed in bags by bullies like Arthur, insert random causes of head trauma here)." I mean, they went through the trouble of actually renting beeping medical equipment for the hospital room. Why not send in a nurse or someone to explain why he's in a coma?

Xingsi moving home with his parents, at the age of 30, when he has a nice, workable and independent living situation…
He might as well go home. It’s not like he’s actively looking for a boyfriend anyway. For the past few years he’s been living in the closet in his own home. If he wanted to date someone and enjoy his freedom, he wouldn’t be living with straight roommates and keeping it a secret from them. If his brother weren’t in the picture, he’d probably be gloving at home waiting for his dad and step mom to find him someone. Now that he’s out to his friends who are also strangely suddenly no longer looking for women, he’s moving back home because he prefers to be on edge 24/7.

Who do you think it is? I have a prediction but I'm not 100% sure
Oh come on. Who here hasn’t followed a coworker around on a Friday night and shot a video of them checking into a hotel?. Perfectly normal to hang out in hotel lobbies hoping to catch someone you know doing something that looks shady. I do it all the time.

Yeah, ep 12 was a little dull. Basically we had to sit through an “inspirational” student assembly, complete with a speech from the principal. Nothing wrong with that, but sheesh, I don’t look back fondly on that part of the high school experience. I know I participated in them, but I can’t recall the details of a single one. Dull as dirt they were.

I was happy that Maping turned down the teacher. I was worried that he wouldn’t. Glad to find out that there was some concern at even the appearance of inappropriate behaviour.

Cute scheme to clear everyone’s name was cute.

I hope in Season 2, Q gets a an expanded role. He’s made me laugh a few times. level headed and not judgemental. Only 17, but he’s playing a “cool uncle”.

It's appeal eludes me, too. It took 9 episodes to come up with one really good scene. Even then, there were plot…
This complaint about tone is a bit weird to me. It’s like complaining that the Hobbitt starts out with a fun party attended by funny dwarves and ends with pretty much everyone dying in a horrendous battle of five armies and Bilbo goes home so what was the point of those spiders. It’s not trying to please everyone. But it shares more in common with the Hobbit than it does with 2 Moons or TharnType. The tone shifts as Gene’s journey shifts on to the next test and his experience changes him.

This episode marks the end of the first cycle in a hero cycle Abd the beginning of the next one. It started with Hin as an unexpected visitor who dragged Gene out of his home to meet Bua who told Gene to put sex into his story. That cycle ended this episode when after three tries, they finally had sex. That’s the comedy. The second and concurrent cycle started when Gene unexpectedly met Tum in the coffee shop. Tum was the one who broached the topic that Gene was single and introduced him to Sib and inserted him in Gene’s condo and also took Gene out with his classmates where he refused to admit that he was gay. That cycle ended this episode as well when Gene and Sib kind of sort of agreed to live with each other and definitely ended when Gene came out as gay. That’s been the romantic drama. The next cycle started again with an unexpected visit from Auntie Orn, who dragged everyone out of the house. We’re through that one yet, but it’s high family drama and involves Gene confronting his father. It’s much darker (like by the end of ep 9, everyone is literally crying in the dark) because it’s Gene’s darkest hour and Gene’s biggest challenge. This is the man who separated Gene from Sib years ago, so he’s actually a threat.

Aey is estranged from his family. He had a boyfriend who he planned to run away with to Paris to learn to become a pastry chef and they planned to open a cafe together. To do that, he asked his father for money for tutoring sessions, that he was planning to use to seed his venture. Aey's sister was always jealous of Aey because he is the eldest son and was treated like a little godling in the family. Mhok is a family friend who had a crush on Aey. Because she envied Aey and Mhok wanted Aey to break up with the boyfriend, they ratted him out to his parents. The boyfriend went off to Paris without him and he was cut off from his family. Mhok still likes him, obviously, but Aey is still not ready to forgive Mhok for betraying him to his family. At some point, Aey read Gene's novel - not his BL novel, but his horror/fantasy novel -and felt a connection wtih him. He's actually Gene's obsessed fanboi.

Props to Gene for admitting he is gay and not none of that "I only love him" bull we see to often... And did Tiffy…
A plot twist in which Aoey ends up with Tiffy in the end would be ... different. Though that leaves Tum and Mhok single, so it would never happen. It’s a comedy, so everyone is probably going to be paired in the end, unless they really make Aoey unhinged.

And my god. They went home from the bar and...talked things over. And didn’t spend two episodes not speaking to each other! And Sib didn’t immediately jump to the conclusion that Gene was in love with someone else. And unlike a series whose name I won’t mention, Sib didn’t punch Gene and tell him not to make him jealous. Where did this series come from?

So much to go over. Wow. Did not see Gene confronting his dad about his past lover.

I’m actually hoping they don’t introduce the brothers as a side couple with 3 episodes left. Too high BL fantasy where every good looking male is eventually gay for someone. And too late to add a distraction.

Was worried from the preview that the magic sex pills would ruin the moment. That they’d go overboard and have Sib crazily rape Gene or have him wake up the next morning unaware of what he’d done, robbing them of their special first time with each other. Thank god, magic fictional sex pills weren’t used that way.

Wondering if Tiffy was visiting that message board because she had fallen for Tum and wanted to stop loving him because she thought he was gay. Or if she might in fact be in love with Aoey.

Aoey can stay at this level of obsessed and desperate and I’d be fine with the character. He’s still tragic to me at this point. At one point not that long ago, he had a rather romantic dream of running away to Paris to learn how to be a pastry chef to open a cafe with his boyfriend. His life could have been better. I don’t want to have to hate him. Yeah, the viagra prank was in poor taste, but that’s hardly evil.

I really don't get how anyone liked this. I can usually at least see why people like things I don't, but not here.…
I think the point of this series is to provide "moments". So its going to be pure cotton candy. I you are worried that sometime BL is nothing more than pretty boys standing close to each other and doing things that are "romantacky" and not much more than that...well, this isn't going to be the series for you. If you do think a plate of CoolWhip by itself is a great dessert, this is your show! Its a Cheewin series so we should be grateful that there hasn't been an extended diarrhea joke, yet, and he hasn't written a cameo spot for himself. But it has other markers of his style of BL. Two boys meet. They do the standard poses, a few falls, a few close stares, a kabedon and whatnot and "Voila" kiss time!

O.K. In Ep. 4, I don't quite understand who "Team" is. A Senior who Neuah is practicing "Dialogue" with? What dialogue? Like practicing the script for the series? It certainly didn't look like a tutoring session and I'm not sure why Sun blew it off in the end. Was the sub off? I didn't quite get what that was all about.

Arthur is a bully so its not really out of character that he'd be possessive on the one hand, but have a soft spot for his boy on the other. What we saw in the first episode is that he's willing to be violent when things don't go his way with someone who is supposed to do what he wants.

Kind of sloppy. They didn’t want us to know he was filming it in ep 6. Since he was filming it, he could only use one hand because otherwise how would he be holding the phone?

For Mom’s BD, I’ll pitch in to buy her a step stool for the kitchen. And a nice canister set. Look, if they’re going to store flour in uncovered mixing bowls on the top shelf in the pantry, a little organizational help might be appreciated.

Well, Darryl Rodriquez plays his boyfriend, so there’s a good chance for a surprise plot twist involving a mass murder at the birthday party.

Neither brother is boyfriend material yet. More interested in why Mork is putting up with Pi. Probably saw him once playing with a kitten or staring at a Scrubb poster and fell in love. Dude has it bad for Pi. Snap out of it!
