Lol decided to watch this as I wait for Yesterday and didn't know what I was getting into but why is this so funny? lol im enjoying it and thinking the acting works for this type of romcom. I haven't seen either actors on other shows, so I don't know if theyre good or if this style of directing just works well for them.
overall, so far, a funny dramatic romance story between a photographer and a CEO/mafia son. lol
Lalyn out here being smarter than all the guys combined LMAO jk but she's honestly the calm one that apparently has all the connections and brain cells. hilarious that she ever married Ken cause it was a pairing of all the brain cells and maybe half a brain cell. also Lavid and RIP Lalit were both too hot headed. she should've shared some calmness with her brothers.
Ken continues to be evilly dumb. like bro is so dumb yet has 2 fathers that keep giving him chances to fck up like please. lol I guess that how far nepotism can go.
im a little confused on the whole he died/in icu, but he didn't at all and showed up next to Kelvin that night. but im sure I missed something as I watched it with a few taps of my FF button 🫣 maybe they his friends and family thought itd be better if his psycho ex bf thought he was dead.
I'm reeeeeaaaallly hoping that Kelvin isn't trying to manipulate and gain sympathy from Vier by cutting and that if Vier finds out about it that he finds out later and already has other reasons to want to be with Kelvin again. The dude kidnapped you, twice, Vier. have some pride. jk I wouldn't either if the psycho was that cute and cuddly. cough pretty privilege cough jk. don't romanticize black flags folks. oh, and I see some people say that Vier forgave him too easily and honestly I get that, but I also understand Vier. I think when toooooooo many things happen, sometimes the best thing to do is just leave it all behind. Afterall, Kelvin was someone he wanted a one night stand with and then suddenly fell in love with.Those feelings don't go away quickly as you can see. even after being kidnapped twice, betrayed in Business, and finding out that he had a part in Lalit's disappearance, he still chose to go see him when he left the hospital (albeit to say goodbye, right choice, relationship too toxic atp). and Vier also spoke about his near death experience. I think that really also just makes you want to start anew and instead of holding grudges, let it go. afterall, he still trusts Kelvin and Kelvin admitted and apologized for his wrong doings and left him alone as he asked.
im hoping Kelvin really has turned around and is just trying to live life without Vier. if vier comes back, he comes back. but sometimes I do feel bad for him and then I remember he's also a little psychotic. and I also hope that he's cutting as a form of coping as we see in the nightmare scene and again, not to manipulate Vier. I understand personally that when theres just too much in your mind, the physical pain helps (temporarily) to silence and calm the voices by allowing you to focus on something else, the physical pain.
overall, cant wait for the last 2 episodes next week!!
the most touching moments were probably the kids reunion and CY reuniting and telling the 4 guys about their family and what's happened to the village.
what is Qi Min actually plotting? cause he acts way differently when his "brother" is around vs when he's not. they're not actually brothers, right? and Sui Yuanqing seems to really like his older brother lol
okay, I have to really give it up to Smart and Boom. I've been on a BL binge and this by far has had the most natural acting hands down. Because BL productions usually aren't high production and usually have newer actors, I go into them not expecting the best acting. but Smart and Boom really grabbed my heartstrings. that conversation they had at the end of ep 6 really felt so natural and the emotions on their faces really said 1000 words. Boom especially does so well with going from this cute drunk character to serious and heartbroken so well. hope he gets more roles!!

no, she was in pain and dying because nie hencheng used the disintegration palm skill whatever against her which is what MQY used against the master in their fighting sequence. thats the move that harms both the user and the victim and CZ tried to prevent MQY from learning it at the beginning of the show.
edit: the flashback was her killing her lover with her blade because she had found out and believed that he used her in order to learn the ziwei method (and l killed her friends). she killed him just by using her blade as he had no desire to harm her. she didn't need to use any other method to kill him.
Yuzhi really had his aura farming moment (is that what the kids say these days?) with that last dueling scene with his brother. that ending? solid. didn't care for him throughout the entire show, but just for that backwards stab and walking away he deserves everything now hahaha the amount of blood that spewed from CZ and MQY was borderline hilarious. like they were just spewing tons of blood every few scenes and im like.... thickest plot armor ever. the lingbo/fengchi couple has always been cute and im glad they ended up together. it was also a cute scene with them and the other couple fighting over the pearl in the shop haha uncle li and that one disciple had it too easy. caused all this chaos and then called it quits. I feel like I had more thoughts but I've forgotten it. the ending was a lovely sequence dedicated to the title generation to generation. and happy to see that the new generation is working together to unify.

im confused what you are talking about? pingshu never tried to cultivate the ziwei method...? or did I miss something. Mu Zhengyang used her to get all the pieces in order to bait Nie Henzhengwithout telling him the last piece was internal energy from a blood relative so that itd be incomplete and he'd go crazy and die in 3 years.
I like it for daring to explore the darker sides of the entertainment industry but the ending left more to be desired. it needed closure for both the leads and the villain. even if they left the leads up to an open ending because we really dont know what can happen in relationships but, we needed to see the villain be punished because we already see them free in real life, why not at least give us the justice in the show. show hits even harder after hearing the news about Yu Menglong just last year. makes the whole premise of this show sink in just that much more because what we don't see is a lot vs what we do see from the entertainment industry.
