According to the author Mame's tweet, Ep 13, the Special Episode will be made available online. But we'll have to pay to watch it. They are still in talks right now. So more details will come later.

That first tunwalai teaser looked so bad, I gave up. I watched the official trailer just a week before the show was about to air, out of curiosity and got completely sucked in. It was so well done and a great improvement acting and production wise compared to the teaser. Thank God I was bored and decided to watch this. What a great and memorable journey this has been.

Their tight budget may have actually made them more simpler and innovative in their approach to filming. Most noticeable for me ...no cars/bikes/bus and no car/bike/bus scenes, not many outdoor scenes....just that one bar. And every venue seems to be part of the campus. I think the only proper outdoor shooting they did was for Type's home and resort in epi 7 and the special episode coming up.

He obviously needs it too. Otherwise there would not be such a huge difference in directing of his two recent shows. Most of the annoying things from LBC have made it to UWMA and have become even more annoying...(like the loud music, nonsense adlib scenes, looooooooooooooong pauses) and very little of the good things.
I wish Director of TharnType gets to do it. He may have his faults but he's not going to over light and slowmo every scene.

I think it has to be the license because after the success of LBC I don't think Mame would sell any of her book copyrights to anyone. So she bought back the license??
Anyways, it seems I have to correct my earlier comment....They may have come to some sort of agreement.....Mame's tweet today was promoting LBC2 teaser from Studio wabi sabi.

If I remember correctly he personally bought the copyrights from Mame....as after LBC ended, he was talking about how many offers he got to buy the rights from taiwan, china,etc. I think something happened recently which may have changed the equation between them. He said somethings like my drama is not about selling sex its about telling a love story.....Many of TT fans were in uproar as he was obviously pointing to TT. Mame also seemed to have replied with cutting words.

I saw pics of him at the audition for My Ride the series.

Okay I'm confused. How can P'new release a teaser for LBC2 when he no longer has the copyright to the story? The author Mame bought back the copyright from him. So the only person who can make and should make LBC2 is Khun Mame. Coz for me after LBC, P'new's directing in UWMA is a total letdown...and occasionally acting is disappointing too.

Most likely season 2, if it happens, will follow the 3rd book story line.
Someone posted spoilers on wattpad about TharnType 7 years later, book 3 of the series. In that, both Tharn and Type are working and Type is getting harassed by his boss who has a lot of power so Type can't fight back. No idea what kind of harassment. Then there will also be third party troubles in their paradise.....someone who looks innocent but is a big fat liar. And this time its Tharn who will suspect Type of cheating. That person also wrote we will see a very different Tharn from what we know him as...no longer calm and kind.

One of the best things Tharntype the series gave us...... is ASMR kisses. I didn't even know this was something I needed in my life. Theme songs playing during kisses seems so passé after this.

If you've already watched LBC than you know Tar's background. If you want to avoid TumTar scenes, you can forward it just like I did. Tar's story doesn't intersect with TharnType's story until the last 3 episodes. And those you can't avoid as Tar's character is important to bring about the downfall of the main antagonist of the story.
TumTar are not a thing in this series if that's what was holding you back.
Just a heads up, Type has his own trauma and he deals with it in his own messed up ways.

For me, TT is one of the most successful bl's of recent years. I loved it...even with all its flaws. Maybe even more than History 2 CTL. I just wish people who didn't like it will just stop watching and not keep on complaining about how bad it is. I, personally couldn't get past epi 1-2 of MODC and DBK and dropped both. I'm glad I never went back to it after hearing about the MODC ending. Who even has the time and the patience to watch something till the end when they can't even stand the first 2-3 episodes.

Just upvote the positive no need to report the negative. Everyone is entitled to have their opinion.

Because of the no. of likes....review with highest likes gets the top spot. Wow, haters really have nothing better to do with their lives. Just look at the likes of other reviewers....and the review at the top.

I don't know from where this thing started but there has been no official word about S2 if we reach 50 Million views. All Mame, the author said was, she will post the bts of kissing scenes and maybe some deleted scenes, if we reach 50 million views. The only thing that has been said about S2 is by the Director and MewGulf in some interview. They said everyone is ready to do S2 so the fans need to beg Mame to produce it.
Having said that, I think getting 50 million views or more is to help convince LineTV to collaborate with Mame for future projects, i.e TT S2 or LBC S2. I read somewhere that LineTV needs considerable no. of views as proof that Mame and her projects have a fan following and any project from her will have at least this many views.

I did read somewhere that Tharn did try to get in touch with Tar after their breakup but Tar avoided him and Tum blocked him. So Tharn stayed outside Tar's school to see him but Tar left the city or something. Maybe he went to France.....coz Technic was calling him the french program kid. Anyways, I'm pretty sure Tharn tried his best to get answers but after getting blocked every step he may have given up.
Like you, I have the same issue in understanding Tum. His brother is suffering from depression, isolating himself in his room...which by the way is full of dark photos, sketches and paintings...enough to alarm anyone with common sense. He went into Tar's room so sneakily...I thought he'd at least take some pics of the walls and consult a professional about helping Tar. But he didn't do anything. If he cared that much about him shouldn't he at least try and find out what went so wrong that his brother suddenly went through a complete personality change. Shouldn't he have tried to find out why they broke up?
Personally, I think Tum chose to be selfish. He never looked into it coz deep down in his heart, he was glad that Tharn and Tar broke...because of his own feelings for Tar.

I have been feeling this for a while that not just his homophobia, his quick temper, his violence are all part of his defense mechanism. His anger comes when he feels he was lied to or played with.....his punch first ask later attitude comes from the place where he got duped so easily and couldn't defend himself as a child. Yes, this behavior is not right and causes more trouble for Type himself but we have to realize thats how he has coped with his trauma all these years. Being with Tharn is changing him slowly. But its a step by step process not a quick fix.

Yes, he did go to try for San and Thorn as they are both older, closer to his age characters. Tharn wasn't his first choice. But he did prepare for it just in case...maybe his fanclub convinced him. After his audition for San and Thorn, the casting team asked him to try for Tharn. His fanclub is something else. They were even there at his audition to support him. Just watch this clip. This also has his first try out in the final round with Gulf.

Yes, they did foreshadow with the title. But I still think it was a very regressive move from them. HiStory series has never been about showing the reality....popularity of HiStory1-Obsessed proves it. People are so done with tragic endings for BL/gay dramas. It would've worked fine if they'd shown YXG in a coma for 6 years and HT staying by his side...This really just felt like how they change endings for chinese BLs coz the chinese govt. won't allow happy endings for a BL/gay series.
