That about sums it up - they are from the opposite side of the jianghu, he has a lot of trauma, she's a bit naive, he is obsessive & manipulative, she's headstrong - so while they love each other, they fight pretty much every couple episodes. A bit of fluff then fight (verbal or physical, lol), then some cuddling then fight, a bit of fluff then.... You get it. We'll see how it ends. I guess, binging will be easier.

I don't think I have ever liked a female lead as much as Fan Changyu. She is lovely, fights her own battles and is very protective of her family and ML. That being said, I can't wait to see feral Yan Zheng after she is hurt - the previews are insane.

So, basically Cai Zhao's shifu was in love with her aunt, while she loved someone from the demonic sect. He was later suspected of killing sect members, but I saw no evidence of that on screen. I think this BS from previous generation is coming back to bite them all in the present.

Yup, once I started I couldn't stop. Plus, I am on vacation so I have the time. :D

This was recommended to me to fill the void How Dare You left and after binging the first 9 episodes, I am in. I like wuxia anyway, but I particularly like this cat and mouse interplay between the leads. I haven't really liked FL in Whispers of Fate, Cai Zhao is much better written character and the actress has much better chemistry with this ML. This is my first drama watching ML and so far I like him. The fact that he's easy on the eyes is a bonus. ;) So, I am continuing!
