This drama is fun in the way The Prisoner of Beauty was fun, it's light, there is no much angst (so far), the actors are nice to look at, perfect for relaxation at the start of the year. Plus, it's addictive! Give me more tea! ;)

So far they appear only in the first case.

Watched the first episode, I really liked ruthless LJL. When he killed the sleazy villain, I wanted to applaud.

But, what did they do with Hou Minghao's face? It's like he's made of plastic. He looks like a doll, a handsome one, but still a doll. Hopefully, once he loses his position, they'll give him a more realistic look.

After a single episode, I am intrigued.

I watched the first four episodes and so far so good. I like the team (even the extended one), once they started working together they clicked pretty well. No one is useless, everyone contributes. I am hooked.

I particularly find hard to accept the "prisoner". It's clearly Cheng Yi in a bad wig. How did he survive both the stabbing and fiery explosion? He's not Superman. I know I always cry about C-dramas' bad endings but this one was earned and cathartic. And how he could possibly do for 'that person' in jail? And the payment? Was it poison or cure for regret? I hate that they are baiting us with possible season 2, when season 1 was almost perfect.

But I won't lie and say that I wouldn't watch season 2 if it's ever released. Of course, I'll watch it, especially if Cheng Yi returns to play unhinged Huai'an.

Well, special episode was nice to show how our surviving heroes moved on (or trying to). I liked that Xiao Weijing kept Zhang Mo's identity, though a part of me isn't sure he deserves it. Ye Zheng going to find his girl and Xiaoqing staying in the clinic was nice.

Then we move onto fantasy - Wuyang would never be the emperor again while blind and without an arm. If anything, he would be kept in some 'palace' so he could never contact his soldiers again.

First case => How Tang discovered aerobic, lol.

I liked all the actors, the birds were creepy and so was Emperor's maid. XD

I didn't watch the special, but I loved the drama, ending included. The entire ep. 28 was a fist pump moment, lol, but also made me sob like a child.

Xiao Wenjing disappointed me so much, I thought that he was growing, but he not only tried to kill his brother, but also dared to ask Zhang Mo's father to forgive him after he witnessed it. I hope he dies, but if I know anything it's that cockroaches survive, while better men die.
