I don't think she is a villain, but there is something definitely off about her. A fiend that escaped LXR influence and completely assimilated? I'm sure they'll leave us on a cliffhanger one episode in the future, lol.
I finally finished the season! I savored the last few episodes and loved it overall. I can't wait to see unused cases in January. I hope they start filming next season soon - the Princess is going to stir some s... I already feel sorry for all our heroes, especially Liu Lingfeng.

Completed! This was such a feel good drama after so many disappointments and bad endings. I loved the main couple, the cat and the dragon, princes and the doctor... almost all of them, including the villains, well except obsessed incel Situ Ling, but that was minor irritation. Rated it high because it made me smile.
I feared Lu Lingfeng hadn't learned anything, he really pissed me off. Thankfully he apologized to both Xijun and, more importantly, to Su Wuming. I really liked their reconciliation.
I suspected sheriff Wei due to his headaches, didn't expect Du to collaborate. But there is more to discover. I bet the "crazy" sister is the key. There's reason why they don't want her to remember.

Exactly. The only reason why I have hope is the fact that we should get more seasons. But, in the scene between Lu Lingfeng and the Princess you could really see his inner conflict. Like you said, whatever he chooses, he'll lose.
But, we got some very sweet moments and some revelations. I guess we'll have to wait for more.
