You’re telling me this is bible’s acting debut? This man deserves an award after this, his emotions are so…
He's great! You don't see him acting, he's Vegas.

Not Porchay being dumb because of a guy he’s known a couple of months. That’s stupid and a disrespect to Porsche who has been breaking his back to support him so he’d have an education.

Not people complaining about Pete's Stockholm syndrome because he didn't leave when he could. What do you think is going on in the novel? What is a victim of abuse falling in love with his kidnapper and rapist ? The series created another reason for VP's relationship to develop but let's not pretend the series isn't truth to VP characterization.

I think people expectations for VP sex scene were too high because they’re still comparing the series to the novel and « forgetting » the novel didn’t portray a BDSM RELATIONSHIP at first. What Vegas did to Pete was more about non-con and humiliation than BDSM.
First rule in the BDSM community is to discuss sexual preferences and to set boundaries to avoid non consent and accidents. Anyone saying otherwise is a fraud or a threat to others. Since their sexual intercourse was a spur-of-the-moment thing, realistically speaking, Vegas wasn’t going to flog or smack Pete. What we got was already good stuff, especially because we saw Pete shows what he wants.

Now, tbh, I expected it to be more gritty, more rough. You know, something like in History 3 MODC when BX took ZG in the bathroom. Or like QAF US lol. Basically, more mimicking the intercourse and more facial expressions showing they’re enjoying themselves. What I got gave me soft boyfriends vibes when I should have seen two broken guys using sex to heal and BDSM as common ground.

Finally someone said it! I'm so tired of second lead syndrome fans always trashing the main couple for no reason. Just enjoy your pairing and shut up! We're watching a series called KinnPorsche not VegasPete or KimChay ...

BL Trope #4: Implausible misscommunication caused by an evil female.
We're in 2022 but some screenwriters and directors don't want to improve.

Not the 3 minutes screentime female whose only purpose is to create conflict between the couple. Lazy writing! Especially since the conflict can be resolved just with a phone call from Prince to Dao and Kluen to check Fah didn't go with the girl. You'll see it will take all next episode to resolve this ridiculous matter.

I'm surprised Yoon is in this one. Was he paid tons of money or blackmailed into taking on the role? lol
Why? The guy is everywhere, "acting" the same way each time. I don't think he needs to be blackmailed :-)

I've hated every boring cringe BL ROLE Yoon has been in ... can anyone tell me if this is any different to his…
The guy can't act to save his life. It's a total miscast.

I see the connection, and the story itself has potential. But they should have done it differently. Give us one…
I like your proposal, I would have done something similar. As I said in previous comments, I have no issue with break-up and angst but I don't like the storyline, how we didn't see their honeymoon phase, we didn't see what SJ did that was problematic for JW. We went straight to angst and it's been 6 episodes without progression. That's frustrating.

Ji Woo's faults are easier to detect. Not to mention he wears a stern face and speaks harshly, so I get why he…
I agree with you. SJ's behaviour can be reason enough for breaking up. It might have been overwhelming for JW to be with someone like SJ. However, it doesn't justify the way he went about the separation. As an adult and as someone who loved (love?) SJ, he should have talked to him before leaving. Ghosting him like that was cruel. And now he has to put up with karma : he should have known SJ needs an answer for everything. By leaving abruptly, he made the situation he wanted to avoid. Tbh, I've no sympathy for him right now, had he been mature and respectful, all this mess could have been prevented.

Reading all these comments, am I the only one that gets that they actually slept together after that kiss? I mean…
Of course they did. Don't know what comments you read but it was pretty obvious.

I was expecting season 2 about managing a relationship between an actor and a chef, people finding out about them, how they'd deal with that. There were so many things to tell, so many opportunities to educate South Korea on gay rights. When I read the synopsis last month, my heart dropped. I couldn't believe they chose this contrived plot, I almost cried.

This game of push and pull between SJ & JW is now annoying.
It is exhausting to see SJ throwing himself at JW repeatedly and being hurt. At this point it's hard to like JW and root for their reconciliation. Also, JW's pov is repetitive : he's been thinking, staring at nothing, hiking, having a sad face and being a jerk for 6 episodes. I would have appreciated some flashbacks from his pov, to let us see how he experienced this relationship. I'm sorry Kang Ming had to play this one-note character this season.

I can deal with a break-up story, I even love some angst (Secret with Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum is one of my fave kdrama) but this season isn't giving what it's supposed to give...My issue isn't the theme but the execution. We're 6 episodes out of 10 and there's little to no progression. We still have no clue why Ji Soo left, yet they added some mysteries about Ji Soo's parents and Seo Joon's trauma. Considering the slow pace and the new characters subplots, how did they think they could explain everything in 10 episodes?!

This is great so far. The acting is good and the storyline is mature yet cute. It gives me Life: Love on the Line vibes (one of my favorite bl ever).
Though I'm not fan of their fluffy series (Kieta Hatsukoi, Cherry Magic, Mr Unlucky...) I must say Japan really knows how to make good series in a short format (4 to 8 episodes).

TMS is one of my fav BL ever, it's one of my comfort series but I have to say I'm not invested in season 2.
First of all, JiWoo leaving abruptly without explanation is mean and childish. But in a way it fits his character (mister "I don't like to express my feelings so I don't talk"). I really hope he had a good reason to leave like that. I'll only accept the blackmail theory because nothing else can justify his action.

S1 ended with the couple getting together. We hoped to see their honeymoon phase in S2 but we got a separation. We didn't get the opportunity to connect with their love, to get invested in their relationship but we're supposed to share SeoJoon's sadness and support him in his attempt to get JiWoo back, the man who hurt him without explanation?! Hum, not sure about that. What I'm seeing is, once again, SeoJoon giving his all for what seems to be a one-sided relationship. I don't care how they're getting back together but I need JiWoo to finally fight for this relationship! I need him to make some grand gesture or else, I'll kill him myself.

I've noticed episode 3 and 4 had less flashbacks. I hope we'll keep having them through the series because they're essential to have knowledge of the relationship dynamics and keep us invested in SeoJoon & JiWoo.

Finally, I don't care about the new characters. The mother and her kid take too much screentime, especially the kid. I'm getting tired of her rude attitude (korean kids in dramas are often ill-mannered and I don't find it cute). These two are just there, making small talks but I don't see how they're relevant to the plot and its progression.
I could have done without JiWoo's ex-girlfriend, especially the way she was introduced (kdramas really love coincidence). There was no point tying her with SeoJoon's work. She could have met JiWoo in their village while visiting.

Overall, I feel like nothing happened after 4 episodes. We're having 10 or 12 episodes but I'm seeing a lot of wasted time and opportunities. They should have kept last season format and go straight to the point.

Quel plaisir de retrouver Son Woo Hyun & Kim Kang Min.
Clairement! Cependant, je suis perplexe : j'adore ce couple, mais l'histoire m'intéresse peu, ça traine en longueur et les nouveaux personnages n'apportent rien à l'intrigue.

I've noticed in kdramas kids are often ill-mannered and their parents don't discipline them. That really pisses me off. Like, adults think it's cute or something.

This series offers nothing new but at least it's funny. It's good enough to relax at the end of the week.
My Secret Love reminds me of My Engineer but whereas My Engineer was quite hilarious and subverted some usual tropes (or attempted to), My Secret Love is, for now, common and one-dimensional.
As for the rating, I'm sorry but we don't have to give a good score just because a series is funny. Some of us need more than a few laughs to love a show. 7.5 is already a high score I believe the show doesn't deserve yet.
