yeaaaa i think august seems to be final date, the fanbases have been promoting 8/4 and they likely have inside info. i've been seeing wetv promoting this drama on different pages, too sooo the airing is indeed probably closer now

try watching more of her, the roles she played so far are non-repetitive. she even played as a mother before. if you want to hear her voice, i suggest looking into her movies as those are usually dubbed by the actors themselves. she has a good speaking voice tbh, afaik she's supposed to do broadcasting if she didn't pursue acting.

going back here 'cause i miss zy! fact, cheng shuang became one of her iconic characters together with wei lai (better days). this movie really did well (around ¥500 million sales) + one of china's hit summer 2024 movies.

despite being maliciously targeted during the promotion, she still came out on top 🥲 i really hope she gets even more successful roles in the future—she deserves it!

there's a discussion online that the delay is partially because this will also air on hunan satellite TV which is a good thing for more exposure (and the rumored august broadcast will not be easy to change now if true) + it's previous broadcasting slot was taken away 🥲

they're friends and there have been rumors of them 'dating' several times before, the last one escalated to the point that their agencies have to take action. both are in good terms tho, zy recently promoted wxy drama. as @SecretLoves mentioned, it's not impossible but the chances are low in cdrama industry. in fact, yu zheng, a producer once said that he plans to reunite them in a drama when he clarified their dating rumors.

I've read that since the story is long, there will be two seasons. The first one being 36 episodes. Not confirmed yet but I'm quite excited for this, I have yet to find likeable period drama that's not heavy on military or war.

yes, i also read that it just that four more episodes were filmed so nothing was really deleted. maybe these may be used as special episodes instead.

not much tbh i only know that it's based on a popular novel and more on the growth journey of the heroine on the business world. it's a rebirth novel but they would change that for sure due to censorship.

i didn't expect my replies to come off as forcing opinions, just like when you said "What are talking about... She is totally cute and that's why i don't fan of her villen or cold role" i also just express my sentiments that she had tried diverse roles which are probably unknown to you. i watched her play as a bully, a young mother, a domineering lady and in several war dramas/movies and feel like she shouldn't be generalise as an actress who acts cute because she played 1 or 2 roles like that.

i guess you still need to watch more of her works especially movies 'cause her characters are quite diverse.
