You should see "Scent of Time" she did a great job playing a villain and strong female role. She does have some…
scent of time is actually not all the time serious, the screenwriters pretty much insert comedic scenes here and there. i don't remember scenes that seems to be out of place (i could be bias tho 'cause it's my all time fave even if it's low budget lol) the humour must not be just for you i guess.
I don't hate the FL but I don't know how can she act like a badass gernal bcz in past I only she her cute version......…
actually weird seeing someone comment that's she's cute haha (tho she's really a cutie in real life) in china, she's still known for her villain role and popular for her cold face that's why people prefers that she play more cool characters instead. i kinda agree with them tho 'cause she has this heroic charm.
She Takes her Time to Chose the Work she does.. And i Think that is The Right way..
highly agree. each character she portrays will have an impact, it will do her no good to just casually film works. the character she portrayed on her latest movie, "cheng shuang", is actually now one of the most popular movie characters in china along with "wei lai" from better days making her ranked second just next to ma li. i trust her vision ❤️
I think the subs in this is decent enough: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLphkYhy_dVTJgtCs_G8l5j4hX_u8iJmod&si=lQvgTsF1gF9SsR3m
i am 🥲 well, i find republican war themed dramas to be quite unpopular internationally which is sad. this drama is actually good minus the weird editing at times. btw, who's your handsome profile? is that joseph zeng?

that's why i mentioned 'i think'. this playlist is so much better compared to others i found imo and this is just a suggestion anyway, you have the option to not watch from this.

yea i think it happened way back when she's a newbie, i just saw her fans mentioning and expressing regret for that time.
idk how their industry becomes this competitive. every time an actor will launch a new movie or drama (whether it is expected to be a hit or not), there will be issues coming up. if a movie or drama became a big hit, the actors will also be criticised for the trivial and mundane stuff, comparisons or their past issues will be brought up. it's absurd. this is why it's best to focus on their works, it's all good as long as you find them good at their job and enjoy their outputs.
She’s still young, she can make mistakes, no one is perfect, and if CCTV6 is agreeing to accept her apologies…
tbh if you look at it objectively, it's clear that they thought it was a paparazzi as she hid her face from the start (her hair is undone, she's wearing slippers and covered in blanket + they were in an alleyway with dim light) and the agents even blocked her from view. i've read that she had bad experience from a paparazzi before as she was photographed crying.
CCTV6 did not say anything, it was the netizens who speculated. tho it's likely that there must have been rivals who also paid to set the rhythm and blew all of it out of context. CCTV6 purposely gave her candies the next day, slapping those netizens who scolded and just followed the trend 🙃
but i think this ends well overall, it's an exposure and old videos (as well as testimonies) of her in private from fans and non-fans resurfaced. zhou ye has built a good reputation among passersby over the years and those who originally have no malice against her are saying that this issue was inexplicable, some even think she became a target of online violence and will show support to her movie ❤️
