This is a well-written story and the ending is just so brilliant. We could see how the friendship of the gang is unwavered and trustworthy. Sang Mi's line "I could walk out with my head held high" is so meaningful. I must say it is really focused on saving Sang Mi, but that short but happy exchange of Sang Mi and Sang Hwan makes my heart flutter. Hihihi I'm really a shipper of these two. Lastly, the closing monologue made by Sang Mi is perfect. Kudos to everyone producing.

Nice build up for a pilot episode! I just started this drama without any expectations, nor did I search for a proper synopsis. Lol.

We are now on the second to the last episode and I lose hope with Sang Mi's dad. He is totally into the religion. These people are the hardest to convince back to reality. I'm a bit sad that they have to kill Reporter So Rin, but that only would strengthen the evidence against Jo Wan Tae and the cult. Slowly the issue about the cult is picking up national interest, thanks to media. It is also a clever thought and a brave one for Sang Hwan to give up his dad to the authorities.

We could already sense that Apostle Kang isn't really into the Spiritual Father but is genuinely finding salvation. It is good that she is slowly being shaken to consciousness now. Apostle Jo on the other hand is really not into the cult but is just taking the whole system as his cash cow. Pastor Baek is the one really creepy here. He is the true lunatic and is now fully consumed by the thought that he has heavenly power.Lastly, the way Sang Mi led the believers in the prayer is on a different level. I'm thankful that they muted the rest because it would literally drive me crazy!

I said I will watch this slowly. but nope, this is where real action begins! The plan of the gang is rolling on. They are picking up momentum now.

I'm so happy that hope is really seen here. After all, we can say Detective Kang Su is still fulfilling his official duties, unshaken by the political pressure. I guess he is just weighing everything on where and whose side he must be on.

Starting episode 10, we could already sense hope, the ultimate hapinessssssss! The first few episodes only gives us desperation and hopelessness, but now the story is shedding light upon Sang Mi. Hopefully the group and will be successful this time. I'm happy to see that there is someone inside who is undercover and a journalist. Yay, happy heart! By this time the mother of Sang Mi is slowly recovering, thanks to reporter Ho Rin. The ending is a cliffhanger (as always), but I'm hopeful now. It won't be any of Apostle Kang or Apostle Jo or Pastor Baek.

I guess it is really just the four gals' plan, and not Sang Mi's. This time the episode focuses on how the cult works. It is not bad to believe in spiritual being, but not to the point of neglect. The message Sang Mi wanted the believers to realize that they have been used by Guseonwon. Bit look how they easily disregarded Sang Mi and even accused her of being possessed. It happens in the real world, those who are master in manipulating people, they could easily brainwash their followers and get whatever they want.

Of course, report incident. But Muji is such a small town, ruled bt powerful and influential people, so expect power play. However, Sang Hwan is now slowly stepping up against his father's shadows. Just my wild guess, Sang Mi intentionally agreed to be brought to the police station so that she can be brought back to Guseonwon. She trusts Sang Hwan and crew that they will find stronger means to set everyone in Guseonwon free. How I wish that Sang Hwan and Sang Mi made up plans for busting the cult. But I am now into the drama, this episode made me sit on the edge! Thrilling!

Sang Hwan finally decided to save Sang Mi. Sang Hwan, in order to execute the saving of Sang Mi, reconciled with Dong Cheol. In this episode, we could also see the governor getting things done his way. Sang Hwan clearly likes Sang Mi, enough for him to gather his courage and go against the shadow of his dad.

I guess this is the turning point of the story. Both Sang Hwan and Sang Mi now decide to face the situation head on. This episode cemented my theory that Sang Mi is holding on the tiniest speck of hope for her mother's sake. The spiritual father also became aggressive in possessing Sang Mi. We also see that small backstory of Apostle Kang and her (I suppose) daughter.

Never thought that Sang Hwan's father turned out to be a typical greedy politician. I'm curious how the mother of Sang Hwan turned out to be paralyzed. But maybe it is the key why Sang Hwan will be determined to set Sang Mi free. The story about the religious cult is going deeper now. I hate how hopeless the situation of Sang Mi is. It seems only the four boys could go against the whole community. What I don't like about Dong Cheol is his recklessness. Now I understand how Sang Mi lived in Guseonwon for 3 years, it is because of her mother that was held hostage.

In here we see another religion: greed and power. There are truth in the words of the Spiritual Father when he talked to Apostle Jo. Greed in worldly things. That is the religion of Sang Hwan's father. In this episode also we can see how Sang Mi is so persistent in breaking free but fail multiple times. The father or Sang Mi also gave up and left everything to faith. This shows that the father already reached his limit. Luckily Sang Mi is his exact opposite. Staying sane for 3 years is no joke. However Sang Mi being young, she still sees hope beyond Guseonwon, and because of that, she's making her attempts to break free. In this episode we can also see the power and influence of Guseonwon. It's scary to think that once people cement their beliefs and understanding, it is extremely hard to make them see the other side. It can commonly be seen in cults, where members cannot escape once they enter it. It is either they won't, or they can't.

I really like the thrilling part of shifting from Guseowon and the Shaman's temple. It creates a depiction of how different people are having different beliefs and on how they react towards it. I think there's a deeper meaning in it also and I want to know about it. Anyone?

Still on the second episode, and I am taking things slow. The plot thickens and things getting darker. I am taking this drama slow cause it is so disturbing because it could almost mirror reality. It's thrilling, scary. The events are so riling.
