If that’s how you define facts then the discussion should end here because clearly you have a different way of defining words such as “fact” and “toxic”
I've been noticing a trend of people spewing straight hate and using the word "toxic" way too much. It's happening…
Of course it will end up with DS and DM! Ahah what are you offended about? The majority of people on this forum don’t even want JP with DM. They just want the character development that is long overdue and happiness for the characters that deserve it. Even NJH and Suzy were skeptical about DS’s behaviour in various interviews because even they have enough emotional intelligence to understand that some things are not justifiable. Finally I understand that you wish to point out that NJH is a younger actor compared to KSH, but I am not sure I agree with the assumption that he is the most talented actor for his age group. Nam Da Reum (18), Lee do Hyun (25), Jang Ki-Yong (28) and many others have shown mind blowing acting skills and despite me thinking that NJH is a really sweet and mature person in the interviews I have seen, his acting has not won me so far. In any case there is no reason to bring in NJH in a platform where he has never been insulted, which only discusses his character in a drama

It’s golden, trust me. It had strong INTELLIGENT amazing female leads, not one but 2 well done love triangles, a really well written script, a lot of scenes that made me laugh like an idiot but also cry like one and I rarely ever cry, friendship and family and REALISTIC struggles of life and the acting from the main lead was mind blowing
The fact that I was hated on (other platforms) for saying that DS changed [for the worst] after falling in love…
they shouldn't have casted NJH because he has such young fanbase and tbh he is concerned himself about his own character's questionable actions but everyone looks at him like a saint. This was a very dangerous move from the writers unless they show that he repents everything he did basically: the list is too long for me to even start where things went wrong

this comment describes exactly as I feel. You know what I thought? Idk if it was because of bad acting or misleading direction but I thought that DM was staring at JP that intensly EVERY SINGLE TIME because, in the beginning, she was perhaps curious and even intellectually attracted but later angry and confused because wouldn't anyone be angry towards the writer of the letter for playing with her heart? Was that not the guy she was obsessing over for 15 years? I thought she was cursing him inside or something or that she would eventually burst and ask him if he ever meant anything at all or it was all in her delusional mind, suprising the audience as she knew all along, after she saw his handwriting from when he corrected the first presentation. Tbh, as this wasn't the case, her staring at JP that instensly didn't make any sense at all. But after figuring out, wouldn't she want to know why he himself didn't want to come foward? Doesn't matter if she now "loves" someone else. Wouldn't she want to know why he visits grandma and they know each other? From all the possible questions in the universe, she wanted to know why he picked her up as if pushing JP to confess when the dude was talking about DS and not even about himself! I stopped the drama after the epiosde of confession and just read the rest from you guys because I just can't with this drama's logic. Also why would you go visit the guy who confessed to you but you can't care less about as you're so madly in love with someone else with porridge when he maintained his distances from you? I can't. Thank God dramas like 18 Again exist, because that was my detox from all the frustration I felt here
Me too as a CS MSc student was so excited in the beginning!
same I stopped watching 2 episodes ago (in the sense that I watched the whole drama skipping it in parts in 5 minutes because it was just that predictable) but here I am trying to figure out if he ended up happy or not and taking days after days to read these intelligent and hopeful comments ahahah

aww dw! It's perfectly fine to be team DS. You're not insulting anyone and you are simply expressing your point of view. We appreciate mature debate. I think the hate his character is receiving is not his fault but the fault of either bad writing or as you pointed out, it's because he might be the antagonist but the writer didn't give any clues yet

Idk, the writer doesn't explore the reason but I'm assuming 2 reasons: 1. She didn't live there anymore as you said 2. She said to come to find her for shelter only if he becomes a failure in life but he succeeds? I dont know to be honest the writers didn't answer to many common questions we have
