I honesty miss DS as introduced. I thought he would be this super humble cute cinnamon roll and would gain so much by staying next to JP who was his cupid and inspiration. They had amazing screentime and I couldn't care less about who DM would end up with. But then his insecurities took over the whole of his heart, in small steps. In the beginning it was healthy and of course he would keep asking DM what she likes about him, because he wanted to grab onto anything at all, any hope and possibilities. I get it. But then he started resenting JP and started hating him to the point of wanting to take away even grandma's love and attention. I thought he would calm down after the drunk episode and thank JP for bringing him home safely and after sleeping together with JP hugging him , but litterally nothing at all. He embarked into this strange journey in which his life had the purpose of provoking JP, taking away things from him as if they were kids and he would rejoice by taking away JP's doll and his candy but if that candy wasn't sweet enough he would be the bully kid and beat him up as if it's JP was fault for the candy not being sweet.
Why ? Honestly the writers are either genius to make a villain out of who we all thought mistakenly was the main lead or the writers lost it.
There are definitely many other things that are very very veeery wrong in this drama but honestly this post was to express that DS had a lot of potential and I really miss the version of himself before he got contaminated by the mysterious screenwriters

I kept saying that in the beginning of the drama because I liked her so much: while everyone was shipping IJ with JP, I found them way too similar and I said that she needed an expressively warm hearted man next to her, kinda how Lee Da Hee and Ahn Jae Hyun looked so perfect together because she was like the incarnation of the devil while he was litterally a priest
