I'm about midway through this now and the FL's interactions and behavior towards the SML (the ML's older brother)…
The man (the SML) confessed his undying and long-standing love for her and while she did a great job of turning him down firmly more than once, the minute she has a disagreement with the ML she turns to the SML and starts confiding in him and trusts him to nullify her agreement with the ML and all this crap? Seriously? Not only is the man his brother, but he clearly would be only more than happy to see y'all apart since not even a DAY has passed since he was hopelessly in love with you. I was already annoyed with how quickly she turned her back on the ML after the countless number of times he's rescued and saved her in MASSIVE ways but this is a whole other level of shitty behavior from her. They need to address this real quick or this show, which until now has actually been really entertaining, will become a total waste of my damn time.
This was awesome! I loved it! Nothing heavy. Just what I needed.
The ending was very abrupt though. Like it's fine, but I feel like the drama needed that final episode 24 to wrap it all up nicely. To give us that full feeling of satisfaction.
I literally only just started this - as in, I've only watched the very first breakfast scene of the first episode…
Okay nah. That impression of the ML's lookalikes didn't last long. At least not the Daniel Radcliffe part. Maybe a little Cha Eun Woo still and some Jungkook mixed in but just a dash of both.
I literally only just started this - as in, I've only watched the very first breakfast scene of the first episode and the previews for the next episode - but, at certain angles, the ML's face to me seems like an uneven blend of Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Cha Eun Woo (from Astro). The latter being the more predominant. I probably won't think so the more I watch but as of right now it's really uncanny. It's sort of like they used those faces to do one of those "what would their baby look like" apps and his face was the end result. Maybe throw in a dash of Jungkook (BTS). LOL!
The glasses may have something to do with the Daniel Radcliffe aspect though...
I thought gege/ oppa can be a term of endearment in Asian culture?
Hi yes. I get it and understand completely. Your earlier response to that other posted indicated you weren't aware - I'm referring only to the way it read - so I was just clarifying in case you weren't aware. Nothing more. No judgement made whatsoever. All the best!
I thought gege/ oppa can be a term of endearment in Asian culture?
Actually gege/ oppa ARE commonly used as terms of endearment in Asian culture. After you watch a few more dramas it'll become very obvious. Just letting you know.
LMAOOOO!!!! I LOVE what you did here! What's even better is I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU!!! ALMOST completely. For…
I can't find the words to express how much I agree with you. About everything!
Dramas include it all the time - fangirls having this false sense of ownership towards the ML's which they even feel entitled to act upon when a FL dares to get close to him - and these very people watch the behavior and get angry over it...but don't see that they themselves do the very same thing with actors they are fans of in real life. The irony is real.
I've been in the mini-drama bubble too! For the exact same reason. Straight to the point. They also usually are a bit more risque' in what they include too, which to me a bit feels more real. Those things are what initially attracted me to J-dramas in fact - the straight-to-the-point aspect of the storytelling and romantic development, and the overall shorter duration of the dramas. They're able to tell the entire story nice and concisely without all the unwanted fluff and noise. Finding these short Chinese short dramas was pure gold for me. The selection of subbed J-dramas is far too small of a pool to sustain me, and the Chinese stories have less of an out-of-the box feel to them too which I sometimes need. Although, sometimes the Japanese 'crazy' is just what I need too. By "crazy" I mean, the way they push the limits of what topics and behaviors are okay to broach. I love it. But these Chinese shorts can give me the light and fluffy I need at other times, while also allowing the story and romance to develop quickly instead of drawing it out unnecessarily which I mostly hate.
I don't get why people always seem to want to ignore that J-dramas are written primarily to entertain the Japanese audience. The FL's are clearly what the culture is into. Why is it so difficult to understand that everyone doesn't appreciate and value the same things? Why complain when what you know going in that's what you're going to get. I say it all the time too - don't watch it if you don't like it! Problem solved!!!! It baffles me that people constantly do that about dramas in general. They watch a drama that's clearly about romance but complain when there's too much romance. They watch a thriller but complain that it wasn't romantic enough. Like, what?? OR they SKIM through a drama then complain that they didn't understand the story or why certain things played out the way they did or some crap.
Anyway, it is what it is. I try to minimize my time spent in the comment section these days. Just no interest in coming across the usual bs.
Actually, that's another thing I appreciate about this short dramas - there are usually very few posts in the comments section! LOL!

Just finished it and I loved it! I really like how they wrote this and kept the characters consistent throughout. I wasn't disappointed with the acting at all either. I'm not saying it's top notch but this is just a mini drama, I'm not expecting anything amazing.
I truly didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did but I couldn't even stop watching long enough to go to bed. I just had to finish it. LOL!
FL is a feast for the eyes (including lots of sexy scenes). It's as appetizing as a bag of your favorite candies.…
LMAOOOO!!!! I LOVE what you did here! What's even better is I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU!!! ALMOST completely. For me, the ML was quite delectable as well. They make a stunning couple. I'm only halfway into this but I'm truly enjoying this drama so far. Far more than I even remotely expected going into it. Hopefully it'll maintain this standard all the way to the end.
I'm seriously loving the way these two lead characters are written AND they way both actors are portraying them. I think they are both perfect for these roles.
I absolutely loved it so muchany suggestions movie/drama similar I'd be grateful🙏🏻 but I know nobody's gonna…
If you liked the ML I remember seeing him in Miss Mystery too. I remember enjoying that one but don't remember the specifics so I can't say if it's what you're looking for though.
Ep 3 on Viki was better. Now that I've adjusted my expectations I'm able to enjoy it more once again. Also the…
Finished it and it was decent. Not exactly everything I'd want in a drama and the romance just doesn't seem to be the right fit for me but it wasn't a bad drama. I could see why many people would really enjoy it.
The ending was very abrupt though. Like it's fine, but I feel like the drama needed that final episode 24 to wrap it all up nicely. To give us that full feeling of satisfaction.

His MDL pic looks nothing like any of them. LOL!
