I just tried starting this but the way they drag every little thing out is already annoying me and this is only the first episode. Even more importantly, I'm completely disgusted with the FL's best friend from high school and cannot fathom why her college roommate keeps referring to the guy the FL has had a crush on for 5 years as scum for dating the FL's best friend when he's never been aware of the FL's feelings for him. The 'best friend' on the other hand knew from the moment they were introduced and was horrible enough of a person to make him keep their dating a secret from the FL for two years! She even wanted to break up with him so he wouldn't tell her! She's truly sickening! Yet the roommate keeps referring to the ML as the scum??? This drama is going back on my PTW list. Maybe I'll be in the mood for it some other time.

Ugh! It's so damn DUMB that she still doesn't get why the ML doesn't like her hanging out with the SML even after everything has come out about the SML's feelings for her! Like seriously?!!! She never out 2 +2 together to figure out why they don't like one another?!

UGHHHHHH!!!!! I know I ended up liking this drama for the most part but watching it again now and seeing how things are playing out between the FL and SML all over again is really making me need to go find something else to watch for a bit. It's grating on my nerves!

Granted, the news of the SML's new 'relationship' didn't come out the next day but it was no more than a couple of days later.

Also, the more I watch the more firmly I believe that the third childhood 'friend' in that group wasn't much of a friend to the FL at all. He was a great friend to the SML but not her. In fact, both guys were HORRIBLE best friends with the amount of lies they told and secrets they kept from her. I don't like that the drama (in my recollection) never acknowledged that.

I really liked this drama the first time I watched it but it's been a while so I've forgotten a lot of the details. I've just gotten to where the SML finally confesses and she (the FL) tells him they need to keep their distance for a while, until he can come to terms with the fact that they'll never be together. Then I see him drunk at the bar later that very night, when the paparazzi later captured some questionable shots of him and the SFL outside in the car. I remember what happens next is he gets her (the SFL) to sign a contract with him to pretend to be his girlfriend just so that he can remain close to the FL.

Now, here's my issue. The FL just HOURS before told him that she felt bad that she'd been accepting his kindness all those years not realizing his feelings behind them and that she felt guilty about that and that it needed to stop which was why they needed to keep their distance until he could work through his feelings for her. Even earlier that same day she'd realized from talking to their other friend the truly extreme lengths the SML had gone to over the years, just to stay by her side. Yet, the very next day she believes that he's suddenly in a relationship with a woman she saw him interact with days earlier - where there was no closeness between them whatsoever (they weren't even friends, so let's not even bother mentioning intimacy) - and doesn't think anything's strange about it??? Seriously??? At the very LEAST (and I mean absolute minimum) she should question his sincerity. Maybe even show some concern that he may hurt the SFL because he's using her as a rebound. But this FL does none of that.

That's called purposely remaining blind to the situation to selfishly continue to keep someone close to you. If not, it's called being the dumbest human being to ever walk the planet. It wasn't even A DAY later!

Also, at that point the 3rd friend in the group should have said something to the FL about her continuing to remain blind to what the SML was doing. What kind of friend is he?

Like I said, I don't remember much about the details of the drama so there may be more that irks the hell out of me later on with the way the drama was written but right now that one part right there just flat out pisses me off with how badly it's done. It's completely ludicrous!

This was sooooo good. No trigger warnings. Loved the way these characters were written. Nothing stressful. Lots of great chemistry. I totally didn't expect it to be as good as it turned out to be. The FL is one of the best written and acted FL characters I've seen in a long time. The ML was fantastic as well and sexy as hell. The supporting cast was so lovable too! The SML wasn't but he acted his role really well so it all just worked together beautifully. This is now one of my favs.

I couldn't believe the episodes were as short as they were. They packed so much into each episode but it didn't feel like it. Just felt like I got an hour's worth in 20 mins. Such a great drama!

I wasn't expecting it either but damn I fell in love with the entire drama! It was soooo good!

I absolutely loved this! Didn't expect that at all but I totally fell in love with the series.

I just came across this on Viki too actually. They've got it titled as "Sassy Girl, Chun Hyang." Not sure of the quality or anything.

I'm watching a movie with the same name on Viki now. The synopsis and cast descriptions both here and there are the pretty much but so far I've seen nothing about a jewelry heist and hostages. I'm so confused.

I don't think this synopses are correct in either place. Not for the movie they're showing on Viki. It's something entirely different.

Also, a quick side note. It became apparent as the story progressed that the FL was actually suffering from some level of untreated depression. Yes, the situation that occurred in elementary school triggered a turtle-ish somewhat cowardly response but it also coincided with her parents' divorce, which could explain why she completely lost herself in the process. I'm glad they help me resolve her personality too because that was driving me nuts during the early portion of the movie.

YES! Wow! Very nice! I absolutely love the way they turned the story around and used exactly what I hated about the FL so strongly, to be the thing that actually bonded them together so profoundly albeit ironically. Love it! Well done!

I do LOVE that the show is clearly moving towards showing her personal growth and moving past that tragic woe-is-me mindset. They're doing a great job with telling this story so far. I'm midway through now.

The FL character in the beginning is such a turnoff for me. She had a self-pitying, victim mentality. My impression mirrored the ML's initial sentiments about her exactly. She constantly hid herself then got depressed when she went unseen. She always either created or allowed her circumstances and never did a single thing to initiate anything that would change them whatsoever. Not even just by saying no.

However, the show itself so far is interesting. I'm only about 30 mins in now. I assume she (the FL) gets better and grows thanks to the intervention of the ML (thankfully) but as of now she really has been pretty sickening. I don't find him to be brash or rude in the least. Blunt, definitely. I like it.

[NOTE: I do NOT expect everyone to agree with my sentiments about either character. The ML's character is definitely a personal preference of mine and one that I KNOW many people wouldn't agree with as that sort of personality is clearly not for everyone. The FL also may not be such a turnoff for others. Some people may actually feel sorry for her. Others may even be able to relate. I just personally have a strong dislike for mentally weak people with victim mentalities. Bear in mind that's not the same as someone suffering from depression although such behaviors can be symptomatic of depressive people. It's usually not their natural behavior. People suffering from depression truly CAN'T get out of the mental dark hole. This chick was just a coward who felt comfortable wallowing in sadness. Anyway, the depression thing is a whole other conversation that I am NOT trying to get into. Just know that I'm in no way bashing people who have ever suffered from depression as I am one myself.]

OMG I was wrong. I should have watched more of ep 15 before made that prior comment. This has got to be one of my least liked FL's in a drama ever. I'm so disgusted with her. I'm not finishing this crap. The only thing that would make me happy is if he said he was done with her and the drama ended.

One of my least liked FL's in a drama EVER. Ep 15 did me in. I've had enough of her and this drama. I tried for a couple more episodes but I'm done. Dropped.

Maaaaan! I swear yours is the only comment that I can relate to. I'm on ep 15 now and I'm just pissed. Like why am I watching this crap?! It was good until ep 8 or 9 then it just started going downhill for me. Ep 15 is when I came here to let loose my frustration. The only thing making me want to finish this is to see if maybe the rest of the drama gets to be so much better that all these other comments on here that are singing praises about the romance will start making sense. I seriously doubt it'll happen though.

Jesus Christ! She literally personally witnesses how disgusting the SML was when he used the info she gave him to blackmail the ML yet she STILL proceeds to get drunk with him the next time she gets in an argument with the ML?!!! Are they f*cking kidding me with this bs writing?! The ML STILL signed the damn thing just to save her (for like the 100th time), yet she can never find it in her to give him the benefit of the doubt. She sickens me.

Before starting this I saw several comments conveying the issues which arose were resolved quickly - well I hope they would be seeing as how this is a mini-series, but anyway - and how frustration didn't last long and that the romance was realistic. On what planet?! Now I'm left wondering what the hell I'm watching because that's not at all what I've seen. Other people commented that the ML is a bully. Uhhh, no. He's a doormat when it comes to the stupid ass FL. She's not just naive, she's dense and EXTREMELY selfish in their relationship.

Someone else said they dropped at ep 15 and I swear I can relate to that person the most. This is getting to be ridiculous.

I can't even be happy that they're finally together because it took her seeing him signing over his rights to the company TO SAVE HER YET AGAIN for her to trust him. The whole reason the SML had the contract he used to blackmail the ML into signing was because her dumb fucking ass gave it to him! No matter what she could tell there was bad blood between them. Why did she think it would be wise to hand that document over to the SML and trust him with that? But yet she couldn't even give the ML a chance to explain himself? I'm so disgusted with this show right now. The only reason I'm going to continue trying to watch any more is because I'm hoping they can bring it back around to being something enjoyable to watch again. The first 8 or 9 episodes were really good! I think I'm about to start either ep 12 or 13 now, I've lost count.
