I'm starting a loose ends/things that made 0 sense compilation. Feel free to add your own, it would be fun to…
HJP and Grandma having an obvious heart to heart talk. And yet in the end it's not shown what was talked about, or how the talk affected anything in the story. In fact it became such a useless scene except to get people to heart HJP more.

HJP meeting Alex to save noongil, yet for some reason NDS still owns noongil, and HJP is not involved in it at all. This was right after NDS punched HJP, then begs him to save Noongil.

The ending was terrible. Unnecessary really other than fan service for the 1-2 NDS fan that was happy with the ending.

Near the end, the last few episodes was more about NDS, SDM's success and SST's success. Nobody cared about what happened to Grandma, HJP, WIJ, NDS parent's and every other character.

It's as if the writer thought that fans wanted to see SST, NDS, and SDM with happy endings, but after Ep. 16, most fans didn't care about the happiness of those 3 people, only HJP's and WIJ's.

Hello ma'am. 1) You can't act in a documentary because it's a damn documentary2) the plotline is based on a real…
1. Actually, in today's modern day, documentaries are still scripted in some way. Not as bad as reality TV of course. And the black pink one, felt this way to me.

My point is that, she didn't seem to be the most interesting BP member according to this documentary. Could this sort of apathetism affect her performance in acting in a Kdrama? I think it may, to a certain extent.

2. I don't meant he exact plot. But the concept of hiding a criminal/defector/AWOL/suspicious person and etc... from the person chasing/finding/hunting and etc... has been done quite a few times. Welcome to Dongmankol is one such movie that has this similar theme. Of course the plot can be different, and the way the plot opens up can be different, but bare bones of the story is familiar enough to me, that I can probably predict certain plot points with accuracy without seeing the drama.

3. Yeah, absolutely, it may just be that case, I haven't seen other documentaries of Blackpink, so I made my opinion based on what I saw on Netflix. Only time will tell if Jisoo is actually a good actress or not.

4. Hmm, people make snap judgement, and overarching generalizations based on meeting a person just for 1 minute. It's a natural course of human beings psychology. I made my opinion based on what little I saw of Jisoo in the Black Pink documentary.

Is my opinion set in stone? No it's not. That is why, I've said several times, only time will tell, and we'll see if she will be a Suzy or a D.O. So if she acts well in Snowdrop, I have no problem supporting her for it. If she acts terribly, then she will just have proven me correct in my initial assessment.

I thought I'll finally give un unbiased review of Start up after the finale.1. Nerds don't look like that. People…
I had less issues with a nerd looking hot. My issue was, someone who was nerdy all his life, and was socially awkward all his life, is suddenly transformed into a Casanova over night, and suddenly he has all this confidence. It's like seeing someone who is inherently introverted, suddenly become an extreme extrovert, literally overnight, hard to fathom. Personality shifts, although possible, don't shift so suddenly, regardless of the catalyst.

Initially, I thought SDM would be good for HJP actually, but after episode 8 or 9, I felt that SDM's character became so ridiculously weak, that I felt she would just drag HJP down with her. HJP can do much better in the soul mate category.

I'm sure there are others with plenty of main roles which fail also, so it's an understandable concern.

SDM uses her dad's memory as an excuse to compete with her sister. Something her dad would never be happy with. In fact, the memory of the father is invoked to make WIJ sentimental enough to hire a unqualified SDM to her company.

Start Up does a poor job of showing healthy and great family relationships, as the people in the show, namely SDM and NDS, are too selfish in their own goals to care about their families.

Sure, beauty is subjective.

I'm not sure IU is that great acting wise, but she's certainly better than Suzy and Yoona.

All three of these idol actresses have lots of stage presence. Only time will tell if Jisoo will have this same stage presence, which is quite important to have in Kdrama.

CITT had the same issues as start up right? Where the SL got most of the spotlight over the ML.

It's call documentary - no acting required. If you are acting in your own documentary it means you are fake.
I find most documentaries have a specific side/bias they are pushing. Rarely do documentaries, unbiasedly document. It hasn't been like that for a while.

Even amateur videography is starting to lose it's realism with the progress of technology, and the presence of AI technology.

Like Jisoo is pretty, but she doesn't have the iconic beauty of IU, Yoona or Suzy. So if her acting is not up to snuff, I don't know if she'll have Kdramas lined up for years if she can't show proper acting in Snowdrop, as a big part of IU, Suzy and Yoona's popularity in Kdrama is because of their beauty.
