Here is a list of things NDS does wrong that most people didn't like. I stopped updating this list after Ep. 14, so I am missing quite a few more.
As for HJP being rude. I think that depends on your personal experience. I am Asian, and the way he talks to me is not really rude, it's par for the course in Asian society. I mean some people go to an asian restaurant and say the servers are rude, but being asian myself, I don't mind it or even notice it. So you finding HJP rude is probably based on your own experience. But yes, most people did not find HJP rude.
NDS faults lies in his nice on the outside, manipulative and toxic in the inside. And nicer than HJP? I don't think you'll find many people who agree with this. Also NDS is a lot less selfless than HJP as well.
But in the end its your opinion :)))

NDS Wrongdoings
1. Waste his investors (parents) money for 3 years. 2. Did not pay his friends salary for 3 years. 3. Hides from his parents to avoid them from finding out the truth about the failing start up. 4. Cheats on a test 5. Lies to his parents about cheating on the test 6. Extends the lie by not following HJP advice and continuing to fool SDM by pretending to be fake Dosan. 7. Signs deal with Alex without consulting HJP 8. Wants to sign with Alex out of spite for HJP’s Plan B 9. Punches HJP first 10. Shouts and screams at HJP for his own mistakes 11. Lies for HJP, by telling SDM they were brothers. 12. Lies to his parents about why he dropped out of college. 13. Did not tell his parents (investors), about shareholder structure of the company his parents invested in. Especially his mother. 14. Smashes Chairman Won nameplate, almost causing large issues for SST. 15. Given several opportunities, continues to lie to SDM about him being a fake. 16. Lies to SDM about the scrunchie. 17. Lies to SDM about having English classes in her area. 18. Lies to SDM about why he got into a fight. 19. When asked for personal space, chooses to follow her and not give her personal space. 20. Leaves a drunk girl in a park at night, while running to get a suit. 21. Did not tell SST about his deal with Alex, how Alex only wanted engineers. Also did not tell SDM about the deal for SST is because he didn’t want HJP plan B. 22. Kisses SDM under false pretense. 23. Touches SDM while she is sleeping, this is a no no for me. 24. Promises to keep Grandma’s lie, then proceeds to break that promise and tells SDM. 25. Promises to keep Grandma’s lie, then proceeds to break that promise and tells HJP. 26. Purposely kicks out HJP from being in Grandma’s house, by once again lying that HJP had previous dinner plans. 27. Purposely leaving HJP out of beach trip with Grandma, and honking his horn disrespectfully as HJP is walking away. 28. Blames his father for the man he has become. 29. Constantly eavesdrops on SDM, not giving her personal space. 30. Refuses to acknowledge any of HJP help as a mentor. 31. Manipulates HJP into saving Noongil. 32. Lies to his friends on his real reason on going to Korea. 33. Lies to his friends that he doesn't want to see SDM's video. 34. Lies to HJP on why he is in Sandbox.
HJP Wrongdoings.
1. HJP shouts at grandma and argues with her 2. Creates Fake Dosan letters to SDM 3. Ask NDS to pretend to be fake Dosan to fool SDM 4. Shouts at and berates SST for not being able to achieve much, and won’t achieve much in the future. 5. Harsh words to Yong San brother may have caused suicide. 6. Lies to SDM why he got into a fight. 7. Lies to SDM on why he continues to be nice to SST. 8. HJP doesn't look for Grandma for 15 years. 9. HJP pushes NDS in the elevator. 10. Uses the scrunchies in hopes to make NDS jealous.
If you don't normally get SLS, then I think you'll be fine. I think if you accept that in Kdrama the ML and FL…
During the live airing, expectations was high for the audience. All the high expectations did was make the inevitable drop in quality writing more soul crushing.
So to help future watchers, I help temper their expectations in hope the viewing becomes more bearable.
NDS HAD complexities. I think the scene in Ep. 3 or 4, when he turns away all those girls because of his logical mind was really great. Then, it just disappears LOL!
In the final scene, NDS still saw SDM as his trophy, his dream, his pride. Then they kiss after his confession, kinda weird but ok, LOL! In many ways, his perspective doesn't grow.
HJP, once saw SDM as a way to achieve his happiness. He saw being with SDM as the only way to be happy. But in the end, with their final scene, he simply sees her as someone who comforted him when he was younger. And i'm assuming that after the 1 year time skip, he found other ways to be happy without pinning it to any one person.

To be frank. I feel SDM provides more advantages to HJP, than the other way around.
Just like I feel SDM provides NDS more advantages than the other way around.
It's funny how both HJP and NDS initially sees SDM like a trophy, but only one of them eventually sees her as a person. And it's not the one SDM marries :)))
I know it wasn't intended, but I kind of laughed and smiled, at all the times they tried to show that KSG is taller than OMJ using camera angles in Ep. 2 :)))

Hmm, I think SDA and OMJ have their own strength. Personally I gravitate more heavily towards OMJ, she reminds me so much of myself, and i'm invested into how she will grow as a character, and am invested in her success.

I think the show is making the male supporting characters super misogynistic to make the independent woman shine even brighter. I have a feeling this drama will have more of an even power dynamic between OMJ and KSG.
KSG isn't an actor, he's a runner, and he's not even #1 in the country.
I whole heartedly agree. That small dinner scene had my heart fluttering so hard up until their kiss!
