not familiar with the cast. Is this worth it you think?

I mean, it certainly helped she had that show with her sisters, but still she did good for herself and used her connections and advantages.

But I have a feeling, she just the face, and there are actual competent people handling the business decisions.

The royal family is actually quite boring, so the show dramatizes it to make it more interesting.

Similar to how business dramas are the same in Kdrama.

Personally, I think SDM journey to be a CEO of a self driving car is not realistic. A company, being helmed by HJP and WIJ, and Sandbox succeeding I can imagine, but I just don't see SDM's role in all of this. And it's heavily implied she had a big role in it. I just didn't buy it. Plus even if they did succeed, 1 year is not enough time to scale that much.

Lest we forget they went form start up into a huge office with 100's of staff.

I know it's fiction, but come on this is stretching the truth just a little bit.

It's 2020, people who succeed and become billionaires on moxie and hardwork don't exist anymore, or it is very rare.

ok! might be a while, I have so much dramas in my to watch list hahaha

She does cry pretty, but her doe eye bambi stare is part of the problem the SLS was so heavy in Start Up. Her micro expressions were also not there, and i'm a big fan of micro expressions.

I'm a fan of the older actresses, I like Gong Hyo Jin, Son Ye Jin, Jung Yu Mi, Han Ji mi, and etc... I am particularly biased for Gong Hyo Jin, she's just a spectacular actress.

No more SLS for me for a while, it's a bit exhausting, and i heard of the infamous SLS in 1988.

After watching a few other dramas to wash away Start Up, I may start with Weighlifting Fairy, as I heard it's his best role so far. And yes I do like han ji min.

I'm excited to watch s1 then :)

Yeah I actually kind of like Moon Ga Young so far, visually she reminds me of a younger Jung Ryeo Won. I would start True beauty, but it's not on netflix, so yeah...

I'm on episode 2 so far, and KSH and the Landlady are hilarious!

Yeah I heard many people say Waikiki 1 is funnier, I may end up watching that as well after I finish S2.

I'll admit though, there is just that warming sensation being in a live air comment section :) But I need a break after the disaster that is start up.

Even if all signs point to one direction, even if things look like hot garbage, people are silly, they believe in hope.

Hope is both a weakness and strength of human beings.

It's the basic definition of Kdrama insanity, watching the same boring episode week after week, expecting different results :)

I mean as hopeful as Start Up fans were, they are nothing compared to GOT Season 8 fans. EP. 1 was hot garbage, and it never got better, yet people kept watching and kept hoping, until hey were crushed by the last episode.

I'm shocked as well. the final episode actually got the highest rating of 10%. The way MDL talked about it, it sounded like hot garbage, and it's rated super low at 7.6.

I guess the power of Park Bo Gum and Park So Dam. Who am I kidding, it's most likely mostly PBG :)

I have no plans to watch it, my friend basically forced herself to finish it.

I'm more curious on finding another Suzy drama worth watching. She's not the best actress, but I want to give her a second chance where she portrayed better acting.

Currently watching Waikiki 2, and KSH Is amazing in it. It's also quite funny.

As for NJH, he made NDS so annoying, that I need to take a break from him, as every time I see his face all I will remember is NDS.
