Both actors can act - check their other works... not their fault that director or someone ask them to act in this…
I think Sichol is meant to be the "comic relief" of the drama, his overacting is filling those gaps in which they can't put accidental kisses or shirtless hotties... XD It's as if we have a plot which is a flat line, and need some spikes: the spikes are either "flirt" or "nonsense". XD
Honestly I found him to be funny in some scenes, or at least his "nonsense" was a better filler then seeing those terrible flashbacks Nawee had on his childhood, so bad realized and overexaggerated... >_>
Interesting story but the direction, sound and cut are so rough... I love the Soul Reapers' job/guild idea tho', looks intriguing... and Tua's smiling eyes are so cute! Fingers crossed we get less hospital and more soul reaping in the next episodes...! XD
It's a pity this show is so rushed (the whole "childhood bullying drama" part felt so "too much"...) and so filled with clichès, because the two leads have great vibes together (the size measurement at the pool with Nawee in dark clothes was so entertaining!) and the tailor theme is very interesting, at least it's a new scenario.
So far I'm loving it: easy, funny, with great guys dressed in great clothes. Nothing more than that, and it's ok as long as we keep on having those hot flirts. XD
Such a cute little treasure, I really hope korean BL industry can go towards this direction! It was very simple yet entertaining: easy story, fun moments, great chemistry, likeable side characters (yeah I fell in love with Yoo Na, she was so cool!), catchy OST, nice kisses and believable dynamics between the two male leads.
Honorable mention to Park Seo Ham, he was so damn cool that he kept me glued to the screen!!
I hated episode 1 when I started the series, but watching episode 12 made me rethink it again and evaluate it as part of the whole story and growth of the characters. This drama deserves much more than most BLs out there: the plot is simple but feels so real and relatable, great atmospheres and sceneries, nice cast (my only issues were with Fah ^^') talented and goodlooking... and the thing I loved most: it's probably the first thai BL in which I see people COMMUNICATE. I felt it was almost miracolous! XD
Now, THIS would be the occasion for a timejump: please jump to the future and give us a DomeVee sequel! <3
Pretty confused by this show, I liked it but it did not amaze me: -- I loved the body-swapping part and I still have to get why is it considered problematic (it's a fantasy/comedy/fiction drama, so a bit of imagination might be of use? ^^), since the feelings were obvious from the start. -- Earth was great here, Mix the same, but I really felt like Earth's eyes spoke of love and affection from minute 1 of episode 1 till the very end of the drama. Kudos to Korn! -- I lacked the chemistry the leads had in other situations, or rather: it felt a bit off, in some scenes they were amazing and in some other scenes they looked like friendly brothers -- wow wow wow for the sceneries! I'll definitely put the locations on my where-to-go-next list! -- please tell me they buried the mother at the end of the show? -- White was so cool here! -- the story was cute but it was honestly developed in a confused way, with some takes that looked terrible (yes, final bodyswap scene, I'm talking about you...) and some dialogues/acting that could have been way better (also given the fact that the two ML are amazing, especially together)
Got two questions: -- why can't Win in Lin's body take the holy water from the monks? Women are considered unpure? -- why do I read in many places that EarthMix risked their life in doing this drama?
#notme #notyou #buteveryone I think this well describes how this series was build by intertwining so many lives and proving that everything we do with our existence has a meaning, a weight and connects to others... and also that "everyone" in the crew was equally involved in creating an amazing product - not just "a great BL", but a "great drama".
NM has kept me glued to the screen from week #1 till now and, even though something could have been better, there is NO SERIES that nears perfection like this one. Top actors, top music, top writing, great story and... yes, I miss this gang already. <3
This episode felt so painful and yet relatable: I think each and every one of us has gone or could go thru a breakdown like Thorn's, and I'm glad the story focused on how he "fell into the hole" and managed to gain back his senses. His crying was like a breath of fresh air, poor guy he went through so much and basically everyone around him forgot it (and that happens pretty often in life too...).
PS: the last 5 mins of loveydovey conversation felt too long and forced. O_O
Reaction: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Omg I want to scream! T_T
Not a single character in this series deserves a bad ending, they are all so rich in hues and shades! Please GMM give us a fair ending to this amazing drama! T_T
Only two episodes to go! T_T Honestly I don't find the pacing to be wrong or difficult to follow even with the time jumps: the school atmosphere helps understand the rhythm and the characters seem to be follow the flow in their evolution. Still liking Vee/Dome better then the other two couples, they had only little screen time in ep10 but it was enough to convey the inner struggle both of them, and the sister, are facing.
I'm really feeling for poor Thorn: he's giving his all with caring and loving for Fah, but their relationship is just... frozen. The most beautiful thing is that everything feels natural: they are drifting apart because their energy now is totally different, they need to understand their dynamics and rethink their couple... be it now, or in the future. Somehow they had this "puppy love" and they were great in overcoming couple obstacles because they are friends first and foremost... but if they want to be a couple they have to become adults, and probably it will happen only if they step out of their confort zone by "breaking up" first and "building again" later (kinda like Teh and Oh-Aew from ITSAY/IPYTM).
When each and every episode of NM finishes airing, I realize I have: laughed, cried, smiled, shivered, teary eyes, sighed, rejoiced, cried again... all of this and much more without even noticing, because it grows on me so much that i can't stop empathizing! <3
PS and other notes: - agree with everyone saying Gumpa keeps on being suspicious, but I laughed his subtle smiles during White revelations' scene. - Dan was a bit too cheesy and depressing (and I might be the only one who liked Gram in this episode because he is back being the "law expert Gram" I liked at the beginning). - I missed Todd on this ep! T_T - I loved the scene when Sean runs after White and he goes up a flight of green stairs while wearing a green jeans jacket, and the perfect (as always) music starts playing! It was so beautiful color-wise!
He's a rookie actor? o.o He nailed Dew's role so well! He just needs to work on his voice acting (even tho' its "stillness" fits his role in F4). And he's so beautifully perfect! o.o
It’s one of those rare series where I like all 3 couples. I like all the couple dynamic and their plot so far.…
agree on Vee! Actually all of them feel very real and relatable, but somehow Vee is the more "layered" and he definitely stands out: he's the classic "fragile emotive guy hiding behind a cool playboy facade" but at the same time he's not "trite" and it's not feeling like the classic trope-character, I love how the Vee/Dome/Pan triangle is developing!
(and yes, I'm on the #dometeam too: there is no right and/or wrong in this situation, their sexual attraction is so strong that the "disaster" was unavoidable, I don't feel like one is more at fault then the other here... Dome is just more "simple" and he has no problem in saying "man, I like you, i don't like your sister"... while on the other hand Vee loves her and him so he feels guilty on having to decide which one to choose).
I really like those scenes with the MC in the first episode. It was so fun and campy. It felt like I was there…
@blurybeat for me, the problem was not the party itself but the MC: she was screaming so hard that after five mins her voice was sore and it was a bit too much for the situation they were in... o.o my ears hurt the whole episode XDDDDDDDD
Hi I agree with your list entirely except for one !! I think love by chance was what it was coz of AePete..yes…
I honestly hated Tin/Can and ffw all of their scenes... I loved Tin to be honest, but Can was getting on my nerves in each and every scene! >_< But yeah I always think the same about the names too, but my fav pairing by name is "Team/Win" or "Win/Team" (UWMA): how can they not be great together with such a winning couple name? XD
