What scene(s) will you re-watch? Please put answers in spoiler for new viewers. ☺️
When YT & YQ first meet, the love bridge, the first & 2nd time YQ turns YT into a walnut & their fight scene are on the top of my head For QK & CF: when they meet up after he confessed what he did & pushes her away (stupid noble idiocy!!), their wedding
Youqin's pep talk to Yetan surrounded by stars is so touching..makes you realise how he's being patient and tolerant…
I know that most consider their love story a slow burn. Upon re-watch, I don’t believe it was. He was intrigued by her from the first time they met. There were so many small moments that proved he was soft for her early on. He couldn’t verbally express though. No wonder he couldn’t forget her even what his father did. Penglai Hall is indeed filled with all their memories. Whether he was annoyed or not, deep down he was developing feelings for her.
I will treasure all the time they spent in the Heavenly Realm: when YT first arrived, after YQ’s revival, and when I’m daydreaming, I’ll think of the new memories they’ll create after YT’s revival.
Unpopular opinion, I'm satisfied with the ending...it does not need more scenes.....Although now I'm curious WTH…
Honestly, at first, I was mad. But the more I thought about, the more I was content with the ending. To me it’s a hopeful ending & it’s left to our imagination as to what happens & I’m ok with that.
To think CF almost assassinated Wu Dai who turned out to be one of his few true ally and family…how things change.
The way his character was introduced, I thought he would be a brute. What a pleasant surprise. It was truly heartwarming the scene where Wudai tells CF to cry it out in his arms & then move on. Everything Wudai said made sense & to think, CF labeled him as stupid & thick-headed.
* Zapping from Wanliang City to the the mortal palace, both YQ & YT had a wardrobe change. Magical indeed. 😂 * Wedding procession looked so grand and so beautifully shot. * Brave Qingkui keeping her cool and not revealing who she is. * Although YQ doesn’t like to be touched, he is still a gentleman & holds out his arm to help YT step down from the carriage. * “Why don’t we skip this bridge today?” I think the love bridge scene is the funniest in the drama. YQ brushing himself wherever YT is hanging on to him. The internal monologues of both YT & YQ. The surprise reactions of Feichi, YQ, & YT that the bridge opened.
does ML have any characteristic of the old ML? he's coming back so mushy and all he can thin of is love. i prefer…
He was already whipped by the FL before he died. He regained his emotions right before he died so he couldn’t fully express his feelings for her, as he had to go seal Guixu. When he was resurrected, he finally got to express those feeling.
Their first meeting is probably my favourite despite all the swoon worthy moments later on. I love the humour…
I’m glad they YQ told her who he was immediately, instead of dragging that potential misunderstanding out.
Another great scene was when they were fighting Chaofeng. Just as she was getting ready to shove YQ’ toward CF, in hopes that he would be killed, YQ tells her that he will protect her. 🤣🤣
* The Heavenly Emperor wanted both Youqin & Qingheng to train to protect Guixu. YQ, being the good big brother that he is, stepped up and volunteered himself. * The reason that Yetan love fireworks so much is that they were always set for Qingkui and not her. Now, YT has someone to do that for her. *swoon* * YQ brushing off invisible wherever germs wherever YT touched him. Lol.
I’m in a dark hole y’all’s. I can’t seem to move on and I keep checking the twitter hashtag every hour.…
Me too. I know that eventually another drama will captivate me. In the meantime, I’m going to ride it & enjoy re-watching , checking the hashtag & visiting here.
Despite what YOUKU did with the ending, I am grateful for the airing schedule. (I don’t know if it having it air simultaneously on tv made the schedule the way it was.) I think airing it every day helped build momentum and gain popularity. I remember when it first aired, there was some criticism of TSL. But once viewers became invested in the characters & plot, there was much praise for the cast.
Now that I've seen eo 25 completely I have to say that it's one of my favorites of the whole drama. The emotion…
You could tell it was difficult for YQ to not want to hug her & make sure she’s ok as she did just regain consciousness from her injuries. Thank goodness the Empress was there to defend her.
