Love ZYC, such an underrated actor. I can’t find it on YK or IQIYI.

YQ is truly a hero in how he handled that reveal. His EQ is what makes him such a standout character.

The costumes and colors are so soft, reflecting how the bliss YT is feeling.

When YQ approaches her and addresses YT as Princess. She turns around and is excited to see him but tamps down that excitement and formally addresses him as Your Highness.
You see their faces soften as he tells her remembers everything and that he loves her. YT doesn’t say those words back to him and that’s ok because the moment was all for her and about her. He was the one who needed to say those words to her because he had carried those feelings for so long.

I love that YT celebrates with hotpot with her friends. A great ritual & so relatable.

I also love seeing how their love unfolds. Both CXX & LLD have great micro expressions & it always makes me smile to re-watch the early episodes.
I’m glad he fell first and loves her for who she is. With the horrible life she has had, she deserved that.
When he turned her into a walnut & confessed but not confessed to her, you know he was ready to say he loved her. But he couldn’t because he knew he was going to die, sealing Guixu. He didn’t want to burden her with those 3 words.

He also helped her escape to gather the shards, in one of the zaniest scenes in the drama.😂

I’m sure they shot a happy ending. Somebody cut it in production.

Yep. Forgive but not forget.

Filial love/loyalty is so strong. His children are so compassionate and they want to believe the best about their dad.

In my mind the flowers slowly (as in it might take a week 😂😂😂) transform to full adult human beings! YQ & CH: Ta Da! Here are your wives back to you!

He really is the best. He agreed to the marriage out of duty. He was not prepared to fall in love but when he did, he fell hard. Not only did he fall hard, he fully acknowledged it and accepted it, When he told YT he loved her, it caught her by surprise because I don’t think she thought he could be that open, even after getting his emotions back. I loved that he was the first to say “Wo ai ni.”

Although she drove him crazy, he created a dining hall for her and had a menu of her favorite foods. That’s love, whether or he or YT realized it.

I think YQ is my favorite drama ML ever. Even DFQC hid things from XLH.

Don’t forget Yang Kang! That’s how I first knew of CXX. I really hope he gets more romantic lead roles.
