From sadness in ep 19 to indignant anger in ep 20. Met up but not reunited… I’m totally team Duanwu. Screw YZJ and his “it’s for her own good” decisions. I want DW as BMZ succeed in her business and kick his ass, totally make him jealous with ZJR and make him grovel!
I love the marquis! He's the one that made the angst a little lighter bc they make you understand brainwashing…
So true! I’m glad that the show didn’t make him a bad guy, and that he’s more observant and intuitive that he appears. To me he does make these episodes better
I hope Ruoshi finds someone who loves him back because that guy is truly sincere. The way he cares for Miao Miao is endearing! On the other hand, the princess is the usual delulu third party. Glad that ep 19 is over. Totally dislike the noble idiocy trope with Mu Yao.
I was not surprised nor disappointed about Jeong Suk’s response to Do Hyeong during the first part of ep 9 but I was still happy about their development at the end of it!
I haven't finished the episode yet. Do you think Phong is the mystery villain?
Even though the previews implied that the villain could be the corrupt contractor that Wichai won the case against, I think it could be Phong. Just based on what the thief stole
I am getting a strong feeling that Miao Miao is that but I have no actual reason to think so other than that's how the plot usually goes. Does anyone think so too?
How is the romance part nothing noteworthy? The entire show is romance. The ML changes his entire character of…
I suppose I have a different take on what the show was about, and I should assert that when it comes to opinions, they are typically subjective and you should not try to take someone else's opinion objectively.
Yes, there was a thread of romance throughout the show but that was not the focus for me. The relationship between the leads was secondary to the other main themes. The development of their relationship was lacking to me, but at the same time, I was not expecting to see more of that. The romance was less interesting compared to the main plotline. There may be touching scenes between the leads, and they may declare their forever love, but so what? For me and perhaps others, it's still not enough to call this drama a romance drama. Hence the lack of the romance tag.
Also, I did not get the sense that the ML only changed for the FL. Under his selfish appearance, they have shown that he cared about the people close to him, and he had already been doing good things secretly.
Doesn't matter if the show had one or several full-on kissing scenes. A horror or action movie could have the same but one would still not call it a romance drama. The presence of a love triangle and physical skinship does not always lead to me getting full-on romantic vibes. For this show, it certainly did not.
I think that those two have such a tacit understanding of each other so I hope that she will not misunderstand his actions. Doesn’t mean she won’t get mad though especially she was left alone to fend for herself.

Yes that would be hard to forgive!
