I think you're right about him feeling attracted to her from the beginning, but his prejudice against beautiful women made him such a jerk towards her. I just hate the thought that the FL is going to get so hurt first before things change for the better!
While I like seeing LYN play such anti-hero characters like YJZ, it’s difficult seeing Duanwu struggle and fighting. Looking forward to next episodes for YJZ’s developing feelings… I love how his right hand man constantly supports Duanwu!
With that ending, this is my favorite Kdrama in 2024 and certainly in my top list of all times. PSH finally got rid of her “dead fish kiss” reputation. 😁 Not perfect 10 for me because the villains especially the demons were vanquished too easily. Overall, this was an excellent show with the potential for a second season!
Agree - they are both talented and I’m glad they paired up again. I liked them in Moonlight. Esther is forever youthful but she’s proven that she does not only act certain roles. Especially after MJTY, I don’t think people can say that she has no skills.
Finally the subbed versions for ep 6 & 7 are available. The ML is terrible but im really enjoying the show. Waiting for the ML to really fall in love with the FL and then she rejects him. I hope she makes him beg and grovel a lot.
