I still thoroughly enjoy this drama, after episode 10.
For me, Eun Ho has already started her journey of self-healing. When she tried to embrace her emotions as Hyeri, she ultimately realized that she couldn’t abandon her true self. It was so meaningful to watch her open, honest closure with Ju Yeon. In the end, she came full circle, recognizing that she had only ever truly loved one person—the one who brought her genuine happiness—a love so profound that it couldn’t be easily dismissed.
As for Hyun Oh, despite his past selfishness and how he hurt Eun Ho with his bluntness and insensitivity, he also acknowledged his feelings through his actions, making it clear that she was the only one for him. He never moved on, silently supporting her while battling his own demons and dealing with his challenging background. I appreciate the theme of second chances, and Hyun Oh’s journey of regret and self-reflection still led him back to her.
Ju Yeon is super green flag but would he have loved Eun Ho like he did Hyeri? We all know that Hyeri would never come back if we want Eun Ho to be properly healed. He said all the right things in ep 10 but I remember so many people hating on him when he first found out about Eun Ho's illness.
Then there’s Ji On, the noble third male lead who acknowledged his own feelings but selflessly let them go, knowing that Eun Ho’s heart had always belonged to Hyun Oh.
With two episodes left, I hope the show continues to explore Eun Ho’s healing journey. I’d also love to see Hyun Oh introduce her to his family.
I’m curious how Ju Yeon's story will conclude. I don’t want him to end up romantically involved with Hye Yeon, but I do hope he finds peace.
Lastly, SHS did a remarkable job with her characters. Even if the show doesn’t achieve high ratings, I believe she chose a script that truly challenged and expanded her skills.
You can always count on WJ and BaiLu. They don't accept mediocre kissing scenes ahha
Yes, I remember "Love is Sweet" where there were good kisses. In an interview, Bailu mentioned that she told Leo Yun Xi to watch more KDramas to see how they kiss well :D
Question about Duke Ying - did I miss something? I saw many comments about his relationship to the FL but I have not seen any actual scenes confirming it. Are people commenting based on the novel?
This Yue Qin is no better than the CP - manipulation and lies to get the women want, even after it was clear that the women have no interest in them...
Ep 16 The Emperor is pretty aware after all...unfortunately he has to deal with the royal shenanigans as well.
I am so tired of this Consort Yan and her "Ah Xiong" this and her "Ah Xiong" that...her naive innocence is getting on my nerves. Whatever is happening between her and the Emperor is not interesting at all.
The show is serving up a non-sexy kind of fanservice with MJH and XL. It is a pleasure to watch them relax, have fun, and enjoy life.
Gotta say, Liu Xue Yi looked gorgeous in this episode.
but the thing is he doesn’t like her the prince feels for her what persons that enjoy mukbang feel. What if…
That’s the thing - he is a sweet character. I would have liked to see Yi Xiu end up with him , proving her mother wrong , showing that a chubby girl can land a prince 😁
I enjoyed ep 9 - the cinematography, the music and the emotions.
I thought the conversation between the ML and SML was nicely done. To me, Ju Yeon is coming around to the fact that Hye Ri may not be coming back, and he now wants to see Eun Ho, talk to her, and share with her. I thought Hyun Oh's reactions were reasonable. So many hating on him because he was bothered by the fact that she was dating someone else as Hyeri but ultimately he came around to the main point - that she was hurting and was very sick. Him sobbing and regretting that instead of protecting her from the burden of his family by breaking up, he had caused her to become sick. I pity him. I am not rooting for either one of the male characters now. Low key rooting for Ji On but that won't happen. I want to see a happy romantic ending but I have a feeling that this will be an open ending.

I don't think the family will make her eat more than necessary. Especially the Princess who seems reasonable. I don't see her being stuffed during the meals with them. More like normal meals which the prince can eat while she eats. I like to think more optimistically that he will end up loving her for her. Of course since I know the Prince is not the end game for YiXiu, I can afford to put a more positive spin on their relationship :D
I feel kind of bad for the Princess' son, Master Han. He is really quite sweet, and yes, it is odd that he takes pleasure in eating only when seeing YiXiu eat, but to me, it's not too bad if it is because he enjoys seeing her enjoyment of life and appreciation of delicious food. I don't think he would lead to her having an eating disorder, plus the Princess herself loves to cook and experiment with spices. She would have been happy in that family if the show had written in the storyline that she would be a couple with Master Han. Maybe because I don't ship Lin Mao and YiXiu, so I wanted the romance line for Yixiu to develop differently.
