You're right, she should not be putting down Chantorn like that, although I interpreted her meaning to be that it is Chut choosing Chantorn as second choice because he could not get Anong. Regardless, that was too mean.

I don't think Chat is into Chan. Even after he decided to leave Bangkok, he only apologized for causing her trouble and bid her goodbye. Chantorn was the one chasing after him and now willing to move to Korat with him. Ultimately it seems more like he's settling for someone who is giving everything to him, worshipping and pampering him. Anong was spot on when she was putting Chantorn down, implying that Chut chose second best because he couldn't get the best.

While her behavior was nothing to be proud of, I actually like seeing that sarcastic, mean side of Anong. It's relatable - she was hurting because of Wichai and Chantorn so she lashed out both of them.

Ooh, episode 8—Anong is playing mind games, using Chantorn to get back at Wichai, but it's all a big misunderstanding.

I like this ice-queen phase of Anong - earlier she was bold and flirty, sending out signals but silly man was completely oblivious. Now he's finally taking notice but what was the preview for ep 9 about...is he really still not catching on? I hope Anong ices the heck out of him.

Well said! I hope the same for JY, that he finds someone who makes him curious enough to want to come out of his shell and share his life to find out more about the other.

Honestly, there might be a HE for EH and HO but I much rather see EH move on from him first, focus on herself and be in a healthy better state of mind before she decides to be with anybody. That's a better ending for me and the icing on the cake would be her being in a balanced, supportive and honest relationship.
I feel so bad for Ju Yeon but if there is no hint of him wanting to get to know EH as herself, then I want him to also start living his life for himself. I don't know if I want him to end up with Hye Yeon. I love that girl but somehow I don't see them together. For me, they fit better as good friends who can complain, vent and joke together.
There's also the 3ML Ji On which I don't mind as being the end game for EH but I guess would never happen.

I read some comments about the ML in the novel and I am so glad that the drama changed him liking the other female general and wanting to marry her but still keep the FL. I don't think I can handle that.

I love both too but MJH's anti-hero character is more intriguing with him being misunderstood. TBH, he can be cruel when the situation calls for it but like you said, he is genuinely a good general who only wants to revenge his fallen soldiers. Totally agree - LXY is killing it! Paired with a great actress like WJY, he's truly able to shine.
