So true! I am bracing myself for the ending, hoping for a happy one but ready for a sad or open one but no matter what, this show has certainly drawn me in.

I don't know - that was a knee-jerk reaction to such a huge revelation. The person he wants to be with never existed. Maybe when he has time to process, he would turn around and want to get to know EH instead.
I want Ju Yeon and Eun Ho to get to know each other. His reaction is understandable given the situation but I hope he will come around to wanting to know EH. I want EH to move on from HO. I don’t know about the bomb they dropped at the end of ep 7 but true or not, I want EH to stop being so affected by him.
Watched up to ep 9. This drama is very similar to other shows from the family drama aspect - typical matriarchal family with a wise but sickly grandmother who adores the FL, useless father/master (or second master) of the house who only listens to his concubine, scheming concubine and daughter duo, other family members who root for the outcast FL daughter who is able to outsmart the schemers, court politics and shenanigans, etc etc....
However, this show is entertaining and the pivotal episode for me was ep 8 with the ML's discovery. Now I am intrigued to see how the romance unfolds and how the ML is going to resolve his conflicted heart. The leads are very easy on the eyes and look good together. It's my first time watching Ren Min and she is adorable with her heart-shaped face. I also like Ci Sha, so I am curious about his Marquis character.
So far so good. I hope the FL continues to stay one step ahead of her enemies.
I got here because of the supporting actors like Ci Sha and Ai Mi. Been following them since they were in great shows previously. Really like the ML too and his voice too. Not bothered about the FL’s voice. I’m a fan of Esther Yu so she’s gotten me used to high pitched voices 😁 I’ll binge on 10 episodes first before forming any opinions.

I think going to church and praying along humans is still an offense for demons given how they can be harmed by it. I also get the impression that he’s feeling affinity for the neighbors
