LOL - you won't miss much by fast-forwarding. I agree about that girl. She clearly liked JSY but was smart enough to realize that he was not into her. She was also decent enough to share the truth with TY and then prodded JSY along. So glad that the show did not introduce her as the cliched bitchy 3rd party.
I understand why many are frustrated with the married couple but I actually enjoyed eps 17 and 18. The shy awkwardness between the main leads as they started to explore their budding romance and the cute behavior of jealous TY - the scenes made me smile.
What was not well done is how FWR, JSY's best male buddy, thought that he was dating the other girl and spread all the nonsense. He should be the first to know whether JSY had a girlfriend or was crushing on TY. How oblivious can you be???
I'm on ep6 and as a man I can see JSY burning with jealousy right now, you're telling 10 ep later he is still…
Thanks, I'll take that good advice. These are good friends who have been my wingmen and sounding board but it's true that they are not my real brothers :)

You're spot on about JSY is different. That's how the show is portraying him, and that's why I can accept that someone like him can treasure their friendship so much to the point that even if it was self-deception for many years, he was able to deal with the torture. As for real life, I have some guy friends whom I have known since primary school, and honestly, we treat each other just like siblings now. I did crush on a couple, but those went away when someone else caught my eye :) so maybe that is what you mean by moving on.
True but now that both are aware of their āmore than friendsā feelings, Iām eager to see them finally get…
Probably by ep 20, we will get our wish. Then ep 21 to 30 are about them going through job crises, near-death experiences etc but they will be there supporting each other. We will also get a few episodes focused on the 2nd couple while the main couple are in their romantic bliss ššš
So much frustration about the main couple but didn't the synopsis say that this show was about their journey, going from "being classmates and friends to becoming partners, building a family, and facing life together"?
We're just past the show's halfway mark, and they are making progress (yes, albeit baby steps). Given that this is a slice-of-life drama, I expect such a pace. Very much like other shows with similar premises.
Also, the other characters are fun, the families entertaining, and I am rooting for the 2nd couple.
Although her behaviour is understandable but she needs to up her game now, JSY risked everything in that kiss…
I just caught up with ep 14 and it didn't look like a hard push or clear no. She reacted more, thinking that there was a passer-by. When he apologized, she reacted like she didn't think he needed to do that. I do agree that she needs to step up. She is clearly becoming aware of her feelings for JSY and even though she's gotten so many signs from him that he treats her like a brother, she also got a lot of hints from him testing the waters. They both need some external stimulation. I really don't like love triangles so maybe a near-death situation could compel them to finally confess :D

I'm on ep 14 now. The thing is that we don't know exactly when JSY discovered he had feelings for TY. The show did not indicate when that transition happened for him, although there were a couple of moments when the show implied that he may have been somewhat interested in high school but nothing concrete and confirmed. Even in the epilogues up to episode 13, they showed JSY treating TY as a friend/bro. Who knows, it may be a recent discovery of his affections, and there is really nothing to move on from. Also, I think their friend summed it up well. The closer the friendship and the stronger the bond, the more they have to lose if it does not work out. Both are afraid to take the next step forward with so much that is good at stake. I would hesitate too.
I am enjoying this show but... I wish they didn't use the cliched story of a child being blamed unfairly by the parent for the misfortune of a sibling.
This is a true rom-com. Even when the show featured heavier topics that made me tear up, it never failed to cheer me up with on-point humor. Even though I understand why some viewers did not like the ending as much, and I too wish that the main leads had more time together, but I appreciate the direction the show took because the result was that there were no conditions or obligations holding anyone back. I liked both couples and I guess they featured the second one a lot towards the end because of the spin-off. Still my focus was on the main leads. They looked so good together and I like how we are shown the layers of their characters. Overall, this was a great show. Highly recommended! If I were to deduct any points at all, it would be that certain characters should have bitten by karma more!
Not a show that I can binge but one that I can savor day by day. I feel JSYās torture but itās understandable that his journey to being TYās love cannot be rushed.
