Thanks for the helpful details! I was wondering how she got so badly hurt and why the Sun girl wants to kill her. Gotta catch up with the episodes! π

I actually thought LMT is Luwen - she's the bandit leader tht the ML was trying to catch. That's based on the first episode when it looked like she was the one who shot the arrow.
Up to ep 3 and I like the lead characters, especially the FL - she is smart, strong and lovely. I can't believe that the ML is oblivious to her looks. The cat and mouse game (more indirect on the FL's part) is fun to watch.
It's an interesting study of human character, but the story is too convenient. People just happened to be precisely where they needed to be to overhear or witness something. Everyone is connected in some way or another, leading to an eventual outcome. They could have done much better in the plot development.
I enjoyed the show but was a little disappointed by the predictability in the end. Don't get me wrong - the story was engaging and intriguing but the last few episodes were very predictable and a lot of flashbacks. The reveals were done in phases but the viewers got enough information earlier on to be able to piece everything together, so the last reveal was really unnecessary and felt like it was a filler episode.
The ending was okayβa decent wrap-up, but we didn't even see the ML in the last scene. XSY was good, although this was not a challenging role for him. His manly aura is one I appreciate seeing among the rest of the skinny, pretty fair MLs that are so common in C-dramas nowadays. I think the show confused the FL for the SFL. We see so much of the SFL compared to FL. They were both okay with their acting, but there was nothing notable.
Overall, I would recommend this show, but do try to watch it on a platform with decent subtitles. If you don't understand Mandarin, you will get frustrated watching it on iQIYI.
she was cool - she came up with a solution that would still have the ML fulfil his potential (in her opinion) and have the FL with him. It was cunning but I thought smart of her to question the FL what she would do for the ML :D
