Oh my god, can we get rid of that useless, extremely dumb Lu Chui Chui? There is nothing cute about her and if the show are using the cliche of a naive innocent girl converting a villain, it is a complete failure...I usually don't like to skip scenes but I am using the FF button a lot with her scenes, even the ones with the cute Jiang guy

So true! I love a FL who has enough self-awareness and is humble enough to apologize when she is wrong but it is so rare to have a FL with that kind of EQ and awareness. That's why we should be satisfied as long as the FL apologizes - lol

Eps 16 & 17 were better than ep 15. The FL got some character development and the ML was less of a simp. They were finally working together!

I know right?! They didn’t have to dumb down the FL for most of the show. Such a shame!

You're right! It's not entertaining to see her confronting the ML just to defy him. I would love him to tell her to return to her family and not take advantage of his authority/name anymore. Didn't she tell her friends that she still had them and didn't need him. So how come it's him who show up each time?

So true - that's why I mentioned earlier that I wish the ML was not already showing signs of being a simp. If he could remain determined and less affected by the FL, giving in to all her whims and brattiness, the show would be better.

Yes, that was perfect. I hope that she will at least apologize for her terrible behavior and harsh words. The ML looked so hurt and I hope that she realized that she finally crossed the line!

I totally agree! I hope others read this and wait to watch both together. Most people I think will wait until Viki subs come out so maybe...

She’s not so bad that I will drop the show because of her. She’s just not consistent. For someone who is smart and observant when it comes to sleuthing, she’s pretty lacking in common sense. Some people may like her defying the ML and being independent but she is just annoying by being reckless. If you are going to have a FL who runs straight into trouble with no savvy, at least give her some fighting skills.
Ultimately it’s her lack of gratitude that pissed me off the most. Even if she doesn’t like the guy, she could be gracious. He’s saved her several times and has done nothing worse other than warned her.

I could bear with the FL’s low EQ and immaturity since she was at least good at her investigation. But in ep 15, she really annoyed me with her lack of gratitude and common sense. Her constant lashing out and disrespect of the ML is getting tiresome.at this point, I just want her banned from doing any autopsies and the ML should take his token back just to spite her. Maybe then she will learn some humility..

Now up to ep 28 and it is definitey rushing towards an ending. The show was ambling along and then all of a sudden, it is 0 to 60 in the last few episodes.

Oh I just noticed the character Yun Que is a main character. I suppose we will see more of her then. I have a guess though who she will end up with in the end.

Finally things are picking up in ep 14, and seeing previews for eps 15 and 16, we will see more of our couple working together!

Xu Neisi is pretty cool...I like her character and the fact that she's not cast as the 3rd party. I hope they provide more background about her and her relationship with the ML

You're spot on! We all know the fake marriage thing is a plot device for future blackmail. The whole Pan Chi and FL thing is just too cliched for inducing jealousy. I too hope the happy scenes of the couple won't be last minute - it is after all 40 episodes but who knows...
