I hope that at the end of it all, the King is the true mastermind, moving things and people around like baduk pieces. He may not know everything but he reacts quickly and wisely.

Time for the FL to realize she can trust the King. Her father needs to show up because so far I’m not too impressed by her wisdom. Even Master Choam knew better after one audience with the King

Ep 13 is better but I don’t like how it’s become more makjang. Out of the blue we have this jealous jilted fiancée who was uninterested before but now going to the extreme of murder?
I would love for SooMin to go totally crazy on Yura and MinHwan!

This drama is just full of tension! The romance, the political shenanigans, the scheming and deceit…I’m just so engrossed in the story

I have a feeling that the king has been protecting Moo Woo/Hee Soo’s father all this time.

I love their “date” and Captain Joo’s various reactions! I hope he survives to the end . And the ending - wow!JJS continues to amazes me with his talent. I like SSK but she’s just overshadowed by him.

She looked so happy and her dimpled smile is so cute!

In the main episode, it felt like a slow burn romance but behind the scenes there were a lot more courting!

Well worth the time! This is a slice of life drama with interesting characters and stories. I started because of Gao Zhi Ting and I really liked his character - such a green flag ML. As for the FL, well it took almost half the show before she finally grew on me but her character development was well done.
Great acting, good dialogue, on point comedy, lovely scenery and setting in Wei Hai, overall a well done show.
