The first episode is very boring and full of cliche which at this point is cringe..am I the only one who is feeling…
Same! Especially the Kdramas this year so far were most mediocre. At least to me.
There is one Cdrama that actually hit my top drama fave list tho. It's called Meet Yourself. I loved this healing drama with all my heart. But I would recommend to watch 2 episodes a day. For me it was not a drama to bingewatch but to let myself feel the warmth everyday after work. It was so soothing, I can't explain :D

At this point I'm just watching because I already came this far and there isn't much to watch currently anyway 😂 This drama should have been 12 eps at most... I don't really get how this plot needed 20 episodes? Did someone read the novel? Is it close adapted from it or just roughly? Could've skipped the last 4 episodes and would've missed almost nothing...

And even tho this is a slow burn and I absolutely love slow burn romances... I think this one isn't well developed even tho the number of episodes give plenty of time for that. There was so little development in the romance department that I didn't really feel much with their emotional scenes in the latest episode... they act like they are already madly in love with each other... how? when? There is just something off. They have either too much comedic scenes with a lot of bickering or super emotional heart wrenching near death scenes...just not right balance and feels unnatural.

And I actually had hope that Sergeant Han already knew about Jae Yi's disguise, because he is always so gentle with her, but nope... he is still oblivious to this point and that's kind of sad for the smart person they make him out to be. Just as dumb as Crown Prince and his obliviousness towards Jae Yi's feelings for him. Even tho she pointed it out really clearly.

And sorry to be that person again, but it was just too obvious in the last eps... main actress just can't act emotional scenes. She has a lot to learn... I like her acting otherwise but when she's crying... ugh, I just want her to stop.

I held myself back for the last four episodes and didn't comment and still waited patiently if this is gonna develop in a better way, but it sadly didn't for me, so I just had to vent. Sorry :)

Feels like Han Sung On knows who GSD is >
I also found it quite weird how "gentle" he was with her... but I doubt that he knows...

I just don't understand why people want ML to completely trust FL.
It's totally understandable that he still doesn't trust her fully, but I want ML to use his brain and stop being so impulsive and fickle. The way he believed that suicide letter without questioning it was just plain stupid writing. They could've wrote his trust issues much better without making him seem so dumb and immature.

Jeon So Nee is too petite and feminine (and lovely) to masquerade as a man, no matter how she's dressed. There…
Sadly... I agree. She is not up for a character like this yet. Her acting is questionable in some emotional scenes, but I guess it's more like she's not a fit for this role.
I can imagine some actresses who would've pulled Jae Yi's role like an ace.
But I think she's still watchable. So I will accept her, because I want to enjoy this drama. I actually really like Jae Yi as a character.

Chief Han has my heart in turmoil. I initially just wanted sis to go find her families killers, clear her name…
Yeah, I wouldn't mind them together instead of Crown Prince.
Chief Han trusts her or is rather loyal to his fiancee even tho he has never met her after they grew up... This is admirable and I like him for that.

Crown Prince on the other side still can't think for himself and is so easily manipulated, even tho he already went through some sh*t with her.... I don't even need him to trust her completely but at least he could use his brain for once.

I thought I was the only one! I’ve been enjoying the drama but ep 7 was badly written and I had to ff almost…
I also enjoyed last week's episodes a lot and was looking forward for today. But sadly it really annoyed tf out of me and I hold myself back from skipping scenes... But even if I did... I wouldn't have missed out anything 😅

What a fast downgrade or more reserve development of Crown Prince's character. Why did they write him in such…
Yes! After last week's episodes I thought we are going forward with their characters, but Yi Hwan went thousands steps back again today.

It annoyed me so much and he seemed especially bipolar to me this episode. At night he was telling everyone to drag her out, ban her from the eastern palace and was utterly furious and crying because he "trusted" her so much and right the next morning he'd ask his underling where she is and if she slept well... >_<

Ep 7 was such a badly written filler episode :'( Wtf was the point of that episode at all? Could have just watched…
What a fast downgrade or more reserve development of Crown Prince's character. Why did they write him in such a dumb way? I had to laugh every time he pitifully talked about how much he "trusted" her lol... he didn't trust her one bit. If he did, he would've at least question that stupid suicide letter or let her explain herself. But he dragged her out right away "I won't listen to you blablabla" after bombarding her with questions how she should explain herself. And when she opened her mouth, he childishly was like "No, I won't listen to you." Not sure if that was actually his jealousy speaking out of him...

And then that talk with Han Sung On. Crown Prince: "She is a murderer and killed her whole family. Why do you still trust her?" 5 seconds later "I will protect her, because she's my master's daughter. I will protect her, if the's able to prove her innocence." WHAT DUMB FREAKIN WRITING IS THAT? And how is she able to prove her innocence, when she will get executed right away, when she comes back? DUH! And can you please make up your mind? How fickle minded they wrote him... Is that why this drama has 20 episodes?

And after he kicked her out he actually starts to use his brain and investigate that incident...and crawls back to her because he felt bad and regrets how impulsive and stupid he was.

I absolutely disliked how they switched so fast from utterly despair of distrust to comedy relief scenes again to make those dramatic scenes less harsh and they just vanish... like PUFF! Just so they can force a bit of romance and skinship in the last 10 seconds on us...

Bad writing this episode... Really bad writing...

That was a wild ride....but I'm not happy with the ending. I hoped for a more "makjang" fitting ending, but they just had to pull the forced forgiveness happy ending. I think I'd have given a better rating if at least some of the big events had consequences, but everyone just lived happy ever after... BULLSH*T!

I didn't feel an ounce of sympathy for Eun Kang until the end. She was two-faced, manipulative and felt like a psycho most of the time. One scene she would be crying, begging and pitifully rub her poor upbringing in everyones faces with that victim mentality of hers. Then next scene she would be there with a complete straight face. Wow... she gave me the creeps. I couldn't take any of her crying scenes serious, because she always looked like she was putting on a show and faked it. The only time she was crying where I felt she was sincere was in ep 20 when she witnesses Ba Da and Ba Da's mother in front of the school with that banner. The silent tears running down her face were the only tears I felt were sincere. She didn't deserve to reunite with Cha Won... And she didn't lose anything in the end even tho she destroyed one person's family and career....There were no consequences.. She managed to live far away from her poor family, started to teach again, met Cha Won again and even had Ba Da's forgiveness... Lucky psycho, Eun Kang! Her poor upbringing didn't justify her behaviour and evil plotting at all for me.

And Ba Da was Ba Dass! She was seriously the bigger person. Just like her name, Sea. I wish she would've pulled her revenge through but she had too much of a conscience and Eun Kang still meant a lot to her. I really loved how classy she was till the end. She deserved better than a coward like Cha Won.

Cha Won was so bland... don't know what to write about him. He was a coward and I didn't really know what he saw in Eun Kang. Just felt like pity to me and he had that doctor saviour hero mentality. Can't convince me that was love...

Last but not least, my favourite Eun San! She really had a way to make me feel for her. I loved her and her love for Nam Cheol felt sincere and pure to me. She was in no way an angel and flawless, but she was straightforward, honest and brave... unlike her sister.

Overall enjoyable makjang drama :)

I waited for this drama to end so as to start to watch. Now I feel good that i didn't watch. Right now i am watching…
The ML in Love Heals/Have a Crush on you was such a HUGE red flag for me, that's why I dropped it at ep 19. I wished I could've like him, but I really don't see how people could root for the main couple again, after ML didn't even do the bare minimum to become a better person.

Agreed, though it must be said that I've never seen a romcom lead couple more deserving of breaking up and staying…
Yes! I also hated that "dying-mother-forgiveness"-trope... I just absolutely loathe that Asian dramas do this all the time. Parents give their children irreparable pain and suffering, but once that parent is in danger, everything is forgiven and forgotten. ABSOLUTE BS! She was the main cause why he got that avoidant personality disorder in the first place.

I rated this low last week but I really liked the ending, so I'm gonna give it a better rating now. I think this ending was the best this drama could get! I can understand if people were not satisfied with it. Dramas tend to be too realistic and upsetting lately, but sometimes we just want a comfort drama or something more happy than real life... but this drama wasn't this kind of drama.

This drama was frustrating and depressing af til the end. Maybe I expected too much actual romance, but it felt more like a slice-of-life. And I should have accepted that much earlier. In the end I accepted it and I felt much better about this drama.

Eun Beom was such a frustrating character and I didn't like him...but avoidant issues hit home for me... Maybe that's why I had the huge urge to scream at him, because I kinda saw myself. I'm happy he decided to get therapy. That's what he needs the most right now. The last two episodes I could really feel how anxious, nervous and stressed he was. He was full of regrets and I could literally feel it. Awesome acting!

And I'm also glad that Ha Ra gave herself a break and a new environment. This was highly needed.

I'm really satisfied with the ending!

But please let Jang Seung Jo be in an actual romance drama the next time!!! I want to see him in a lovey-dovey and romantic kind of drama! 😭
