Just my opinion, but I don't care for 2nd couple at all >_< For me, they have way too much screen-time the latest eps...

I mean, in the few flashbacks we got, it’s clear she cared for him (well yeah, she did sacrifice herself lol), but I never really got the "romantic" vibes from her. So I really hope we get more flashbacks to actually show when MQG fell for him.

Oh man... I read in other comments that XRR is the main and she will have MQG's memories just as flashbacks and won't get her personality. I really loved MQG, but I guess she really is dead "dead"... Even her voice is completely different 😭

I really hope XRR gets at least a bit of her boldness and maturity back or I will not enjoy this drama as much as I want to...

I felt like MQG had way more chemistry with SYS than XRR. Even tho it’s the same actress, their different personalities and dynamics make a huge difference in how I perceive them.

XRR is cute and innocent, but kinda... bland? Also, I really don’t know how or when she even fell for SYS... it felt kinda unnatural tbh. Like yeah, he saved her and he’s handsome. Guess that’s it. She’s always been a sucker for good looks haha

For novel readers, I got a question: When her memories come back, does she get her old personality back too? Do they merge somehow? Or is it just XRR personality with MQG’s memories?

I really loved the dynamic MQG and SYS had, so I'm a bit sad that I don’t vibe with XRR as much lol… but I guess this drama is more about XRR & SYS’s love story, right?

I came for specific actors/characters too, but stayed for a completely other couple lol So, I'd recommend to dive into every couple's story, because you never know ;)

I'm glad I didn't drop this drama because Fourth Sister's story was really good! I could actually feel the romance in their love story!

Honestly, I just couldn't connect with either the Third or First Daughter's "love" stories. Both developments felt unnatural, overloaded with dreary soap opera tropes and surrounded by annoying characters. Tho the acting from both couples was still pretty good.

But with Hao De and Shen Hui Zhao, there was proper development and genuine romance imo. I especially loved that Hao De never tried to manipulate or control her husband, even though the amnesia trope could have easily gone in that direction. Instead, she was so honest and upright that you couldn't help but fall for her! That’s also why the infamous amnesia trope didn’t bother me, because she told him really everything, which was such a refreshing contrast to her sisters' stories.

Yeah, have to admit, I wasn't a fan of the dreaded "noble idiocy"... But thankfully, it didn’t drag on for long! Though I have to admit, the end of Episode 26 felt a bit... odd? He gave in so fast that I genuinely thought he was dreaming for a second XD

Anyway, I absolutely loved Hao De and Hui Zhao’s story. I could honestly watch an entire drama just about them! The acting was fantastic on both sides. Liang Yong Qi was already great in "The Double" and he definitely proved once again that he has leading man potential. Hopefully, he gets more main roles in the future! :)

I was already a fan of Chen Zhe Yuan's acting and watched several dramas with him. He has such soft gaze and it's giving me butterflies ❤️

But I have to say his lead lady here is really not holding back either. I literally fell in love with Liang Jie's natural acting! Never saw her in anything else before, but I wrote down all the dramas some nice MDLers recommended me. Can't wait to tune into some, when I have the time hehehe 🤭

I came here to catch up… but maybe I shouldn’t have. The negativity in here is overwhelming and I honestly don't know why.

I haven’t read the novel, so I can’t compare, but I’m really enjoying this drama. Honestly, comment sections for novel adaptations are always the same... people will always find something to complain about. That’s why I usually prefer non-novel dramas, way less negativity and spoilers.

I usually check in the comment section after watching new episodes, but I think I’ll pass next time. Don’t want to ruin my happy vibes right after watching lol

As an avid K-drama watcher, I have to disagree. Lately, K-dramas have become quite over-the-top, packed with all sorts of unnecessary embellishments... honestly, they’d probably squeeze a thriller murder case into this just for the drama lol

Imo, Chinese dramas have mastered the art of slice-of-life and romance far better these days...

Can someone recommend me some good Liang Jie dramas? It's my first drama with her and I absolutely love her acting! Is there another drama where her acting is as good as here?

Wow, these episodes were intense again! I just have to say it, the acting in this is so good! Both leads are so in sync and on the same acting level, that their scenes are so intense. You can see every emotion in their eyes. Absolutely amazing!
