It's my first time seeing a drama with Liu Hao Cun and she's phenomenal! She's really carrying the drama for me, especially with her emotional and crying scenes. Just searched for her and saw that she's actually a rookie actress. Wow.. I'm impressed!
Its already been discussed you should read the comments below. The scene where he apologised properly has been…
I just started this drama and didn't want to spoil myself therefore didn't read any comments yet. But it really seems like all of this is caused due to editing or censorship.
That's a shame... Because the quality of the story is lacking because of that. All these unnecessary make-up scenes made it, but essential scenes didn't? I will never understand Chinese editing T-T
I'm really not a fan of how they just brushed off MLs aggressive behavior without him properly apologizing or even regretting how he treated her and acknowledging that he hurt her.
He literally said that he doesn't give a f*** about her and just wants his friend and the old Jiang Xiao Yuan back and all kind of other mean things + aggressive/controlling behaviour. He was so incredibly mean to her but in ep 12 she already forgotten everything and is all smiles and giggly around him. Like how?! She was distant towards him for mere seconds and then everything was good again without a proper confrontation.
Sometimes we get really emotional scenes and the next scene it just seems to not have ever happen. Like when they went to that reunion and she was utterly humiliated and thought that was his intention for bringing her there. Then the next scene they just wrote their partnership contract. I thought they would've at least a confrontation after she was so hurt by those actions, but nope...
I really love those emotional scenes, but I have the feeling they never have an aftermath here and a proper confrontation for it to "resolve" naturally. It's frustrating and I feel that really brings down the quality of the story.
I'm on ep 7 and I find MLs behaviour disturbing af.... Might have destroyed my view of him, even if he changes for the better later. Because his behavior is quite hard to understand. Why was he acting like that? Like the girl told him the truth BEFOREHAND, didn't lie nor deceive him and now he finds out she was actually telling the truth... and he still acts like THAT?! What?! ._.
Hell no... I feel so bad for her. She encounters one bad person after another. No wonder, she has trust issues and acts entitled, cold and distant. I wouldn't like to make friends as well if every person stabs me in the back after some time.
I think something is wrong with the ratings... but it's always like this with new dramas. The first 2 episodes were a very good introduction to the story.
I really enjoyed the first two episodes! I love this kind of drama vibe. Sports, Slice of Life, Romance and Mystery. So far really good!
Also it's a joy to see the coach couple of "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" as parents of the male lead here :D As if it's a continuation of their story hehe
This is such a warm joy to watch and so refreshing, because lately all the Kdramas give off the same vibe 😅 I still like them, but we really need more melodramas and less romcoms with murder, contract marriages or past lives lol
Hello, I would like to watch this, but I'm traumatized of Wuxia//Xianxia endings lately and I can't do a sad endings anymore. Pls tell me, if this has a HE oder SE. Thanks 😊
Yes, watch it. The feeling you get is quite different when you watch it. You will laugh, cry, amd go on an amazing…
Me too... My sister came in and rolled her eyes, when she saw me bawling my eyes out for this drama and she said I should stop watching dramas. Maybe she's right. It's not good for my mental health 😭 lol
On my 3rd viewing for the year. This has turned into my go-to, when I want calm, peace and a lift to gentle joyfulness.
Just came here thinking of rewatching this gem for the same reason! This is like calming meds to me lol I need that because I just watched a Cdrama which I loved end on a horrible note...
Guess "Meet Yourself" will stay my all-time favourite this year, because it was just perfect from beginning til end. It's so rare to find a drama these days which is good from start to finish. Not sure if I have higher standards and expectations now compared to the past or dramas really hardly good nowadays...
I just finished to watch... and for me the last 6 episodes are the weakest of the whole drama and full of nonsense…
Oh gosh, yes! You explained some of the bad writing and nonsense stuff so well... Like why are the writers on drugs while writing the ending? I just don't understand.

I'm waiting for the episode where he deeply regrets how he treated her...
