1988 Hae Joon was born 2021 Hae Joon found the time machine car (age 33) 2037 Hae Joon was killed (age 49! - he didn't look like 49 at all. Was it really his 49 year old self who got killed? Or was he already a traveler?
If the killer is from 1987 and killed him in his original timeline, he must have been in his 70s. I doubt he was killed by someone that old. So it has to be someone from the past who traveled to the future with the car. And the only one who does know about it, is indeed just his father... Except if there are two time machine cars in 1987. Or someone who travels back and forth. Travels to 1987, kills someone, travels back.
Almost everything is pointing to ML's father as of now. And it is indeed suspicious how the culprit in ep 12 run away and escaped through the tunnel(!) Meanwhile ML's father also run away and wanted to escape through the tunnel, even with the time travel car now. But he doesn't have any connection to the victims, especially with Soon Ae in the future. Maybe Soon Ae got killed by someone else?
FL's uncle on the other hand had connections to the 1987 victims, future Soon Ae and to the time traveler Hae Joon. And why tf did he react to the news like that? Maybe the writers just wanted to play with us, so that we suspect him again.
I'm really torn between ML's father and FL's uncle. Both are suspicious as hell. Alongside with Go Mi Sook. Future Go Mi Sook and her mysterious talks and epilogues in the early episodes can't be just hot air, right? If she didn't kill the 1987 victims, maybe she killed future Soon Ae and left the matchbox there to copy the 1987 killer. Because she's a thief and loves to copy and steal lol
I'm really curious about the last two episodes and hope they will fill all the blanks. This drama is too good for a rushed half-assed ending! Please let it be good!
+EDIT: I messed up the timeline. When Hae Joon traveled to year 2037 he was already dead long ago. He said to future Go Mi Soo after he was released, that he died when he was 35... so in year 2023.
My brain is tired from thinking who the actual killer is!! I know that it was shown on ep 14 but I’m not 100%…
Hahahaha yes totally! I also thought it was suspicious how the camera angle of that restaurant tent chef was and thought "Is the killer there and listening to them?" XD Everyone and everything is suspicious as of now.
The writers are definitely playing with us until the end. The killer reveal might not be the killer reveal after all. I just don't think the killer is his father. I don't know why he run away, but there has to be a reason for that. He just seems too smart to fall for Hae Joon's interview trap. And why would he stop the car after hitting Hae Joon? Doesn't seem to be something a ruthless killer would do. I think the ML's mother thought that her boyfriend is the killer, because she connected the string and the matchbox to it.
I'd rather go with FL's uncle Yu Seob. He was highly suspicious watching the news. And he has connections to both the first and second victim. His tragic past made me doubt him being the killer, but I think he fits more than ML's father. And my main clue is still Soon Ae's words just right before she was killed in the future: "No way...How could you...How... How could you deceive everyone after doing such a thing?" She clearly knew the killer and had a deeper connection to him. The Uncle might have just pretended to have a mental disability, that's why she said "deceived".
Or there are several killers... And I'm still not buying Go Mi Sook's tears. She's heartless. Be it in the past or the future. The epilogues in the early episodes might be more of clue than we thought.
Sometimes I forget specific scenes, which could be important. Maybe gonna bingewatch all episodes again until next week, so everything is fresh in my mind :D
*addition: And for someone who had a rather intimate relationship with the first victim (the teacher), Yu Seob didn't seem sad at all when she died... or rather we never saw him mourning as of sort.
Wow!!! They finally revealed who the killer was in episode 14. After episode 12 many put ML's father on their…
He doesn't know that Cafe Lady is pregnant so I rather think he will flee to the future, encounter future Hae Joon there and kills him without knowing that he's his son...
Just watched ep 1 and it was so so.... Not hooked, but I guess I'll watch some more, because it was just 30 minutes. Seems too less to make an opinion yet. But the characters feel like I've seen them a hundred times already... And I hope the name misunderstanding won't last long. So the ML is supposed to be a bully? Doesn't really seem like it. He even brought her wallet to the lost and found. He seems to be like every kinda cold and FL-teasing drama ML out there. I really hoped to see a bad boy and was curious about his character development... well too bad.
I did like "Lovely Us" and "Let's Meet now" of the same director, but the writer is more important. Haven't seen anything of Zhu Yi yet...
Yoo Bum Ryung !!!If you take a look at his actions since day one are all suspicious:First, He always reads a book,…
That would definitely be a twist! But also wouldn't make much sense because if he killed his past self then his future self would cease to exist right?
Everyone saying dad is the killer, remember the first murders happened way earlier. It was MLs meddling that changed…
We actually don't know about that. ML's father could have just pretend to have stayed in America, but was actually in the village all along... But I do hope that he is not the killer. I'm curious why the "all-so-loving-grandfather" turned out to be such a d*ck to his grandson....
Im pretty sure the treehouse lady is his mom, but I think she's leaving early then she is suppose to. Because…
Yea maybe that's true or she also planed back then to leave early but something hold her back. We'll see :) Next week it's ending and I'm really curious what is gonna happen :D
By the end of every episode I question everything that I thought I figured out... Still have no clue who could be the murderer or his mom. Really thought it was the Tea House owner but now I'm not so sure anymore. And she is kinda suspicious.... I don't think she's the murderer but why do I feel that she is from the future as well. She tried weirdly hard to befriend Hae Joon and get close to him, but I don't know why... Oh man... got no clue 😂
But all the talk about "even family should be punished for their crimes" with the detective sounded so foreshadowing to me.... And Hae Joon's father is a bit weird and mysterious. Also when the murderer run away he looked so much like him, but I sincerely hope that he is not the murderer!!! >_> Then ML will vanish and not exist at all....and that would be so sad, because he came to the past to save his future self but then actually prevents that and will not even exist in the first place? 😭 tbh this would be a cool ending, but a really sad one and sadistic of the writers 😅
I still hope the murderer is also not from this timeline, but from the future. Maybe it could also be an already known character who is cleared of suspicion, but his future self came to the past to kill and his current self in 1987 is not a murderer yet.
This drama is still keeping me on edge and I hope the revelation is gonna be good as well :D
Just watched the latest two episodes and I absolutely loved them! And I'm so hyped that Kang Dong Joo is back!!!…
I give up! I didn't find many good comments in the recent ones... Totally killed my happy vibe T-T I will go to sleep now... If u still love this drama like I do, leave many good comments for the excited people to see and be happy and excited together. Pretty please :')
Just watched the latest two episodes and I absolutely loved them! And I'm so hyped that Kang Dong Joo is back!!! So came here with a lot of excitement to see what others are thinking... and all the recent comments say the same about this season being bad.... Killed my excitement so fast, it actually physically hurts >_< Wished I scrolled down to better comments first... Gonna scroll now to find some happy comments :') I absolutely love this season and the writing as well. Love the characters and the storytelling. So excited people out there... I hope you know you are not alone! :D
There was a 2015 drama called Twenty Again that did a similar story much better in my opinion
Twenty Again was so good! I thought Dr. Cha would be similar, but they made the cheating issue a whole joke with lots of funny music and exaggerating acting. Twenty Again was so wholesome in comparison :)
at which point did you drop it and what made you decide to? i wanna see if missed some warning signs lol
The episode when her children found out about their cheating father and the whole family decided to deceive the mother. RED FLAG! The whole family! And the writers covered it with funny music, exaggerating acting and whole lot of comedy :') I knew they were gonna take this serious topic as a comedy trope and it didn't sit right with me, so I put it on hold to see if they're gonna stay that path and well... they did.
I really hope for the ML that Go Mi Sook is not his mother... even if she isn't a murderer, she's still a psycho and a thief. I think his mother is the owner of the tea shop, because I doubt that his genius adult father would date a high school girl. Even tho I kinda thought Hae Kyung could be also his mother, but she was one of the victims, so can't be her as well. And it seems she has a crush on Mi Sook? Or it was just wishful thinking of Mi Sook and her delusional writing. Also there are still two other girls with the same hairband... but they were not shown in the cinema scene. The show really knows how to hold us captive without us getting bored. We still don't know who the murderer is nor who his mother is XD But I'm still hooked and I love that they are slowly revealing our main leads feelings for each other.
How is it that I find AHS so amazing in this drama(S2 & S3 both) but mediocre in that nonsense “Business Proposal”???…
I guess Business Proposal was just not your cup of tea. Didn't have anything to do with AHS or his acting. He was good in Business Proposal as well, but he sure improved tho! :) He can show more range of emotions in Dr Romantic which is awesome.
