It was really hard to follow. It was so weird. I watched the whole episode without skipping a second and still asking myself. What happened? ._.

I'm kinda sad 😢 Just watched ep 33... and this drama doesn't excite me anymore. Every episode leaves me with a bitter aftertaste now and I don't yearn for the next one like I did in the past.
Don't know if it's the crappy editing, deleting scenes etc. after they were forced to shorten the episodes, but I just don't feel it anymore.
Immortal arc really detached my feelings from this drama.
I don't want to admit it, because I was so invested in this drama and addicted of rewatching episodes.... but I had the huge urge to skip in almost all immortal world episodes. Noooo! I really wanted to love this drama until the end 😭 It feels someone else wrote and directed immortal arc.

Their bickering in ep 33 was cute and all, but it felt so unnatural after what they were going through. Nothing was resolved nor did they have an actual honest conversation, so the development was just off for me and I couldn't quite enjoy their "lovely" moments. And LLS drastic behavior change was weird as well...

I want my excitement and addiction for this drama back. It was the only ongoing drama which I enjoyed so much T-T

Yes!!! Mortal world is highly superior. The stories, characters, fights, just everything.
I love this drama a lot but I know my final rating won't be 10, because dream arc and immortal arc are bland in comparison to mortal arc.
Mortal arc is definitely a 10 for me tho. I wish the plot would have stayed in the mortal world until the end.

TTJ should know that there is actually one person who cares for him deeply. And it's not LSS :')

I think it highly depends on how this will end...
I'm keen on giving this drama a high rating, because I'm really invested in this drama. But the immortal arc seems off to me until now and I'm scared the ending is gonna be bad T-T

That's also true, even to the main cast of s2 also grew drastically in popularity, so I was actually really surprised that ALL of the main and support cast got casted. That's really cool :)

I also liked s1 more, but I do think the characters in s2 have more potential for a continued story, so s3 with the cast of s2 makes more sense to me. Even tho I do miss the leads in s1. The couple had extremely good chemistry in s1.

Not digging immortal world that much either. Such a shame. Mortal world was so incredible and well written. Really hope immortal world is gonna keep up.

No one expects her to abort her mission for love, but why can't she freakin COMMUNICATE for once? At least he tries. But no character development from her. Do we really have to wait until the last episode for her to be honest or even get one nice word out of her? It's already ep 32... Their relationship development is gonna be so unnatural if she stabs him with painful words every few episodes and then changes in the last few episodes.
She is unnecessarily cruel with him while she is EXTREMELY!!! lenient to anyone else. The double standard is reaching!
And this is how she's treating the man she loves? RED FLAG!!!

Was this a translation mistake? Because that doesn't make sense with Sang Jiu. Wouldn't she have said Ye Xiwu?

LSS got to be the most double standard and hypocrite character I've ever seen.

I miss the side characters from mortal world so much... The immortal ones aren't doing it for me.

TTJ is the most captivating character for me in this drama, but I'm also kind of done with this. If the genders were reversed, people would call him a "doormat" ... 😅 He's too obsessed and LSS is too indifferent. Highly unbalanced relationship even now in ep 32. Really don't know how the writers will make us believe they love each other equally by the end of this drama... or they won't. It just is what it is. A one-sided tragic love story.

Well, TTJ had bit of character development at least. He's honest with his feelings now and at least tries to communicate. LSS on the other hand........*sigh*

Why do people always bring TTJ from the novel in here? Drama TTJ and Novel TTJ are different, so I don't get why people always bring up how evil TTJ in the novel is, because he just isn't in the drama. So I just don't get the comments.

Oh man... the shortened episodes to 40 really kinda destroyed the flow in the immortal arc. The last two episodes were kinda messy, too much going on, information and scenes condensed, abrupt editing etc. Which made everything so anti-climatic and I found myself detached from the drama and its characters.

I was really anticipating them meeting in immortal arc... but it was quite disappointing. So anti-climatic and Li Susu's reaction was so... weird and emotionless. She didn't seem surprised nor seemed to care how her "lover" from 500 years ago came to the immortal world.

I'm seriously so done with Li Susu... seriously. Will we ever get her to be honest with him? What is the reason she's acting this way again? Maybe I could understand her behavior in mortal world, because she had a mission even tho she said such painful words, that I still think were highly unnecessary. But why is she even now in immortal arc so cruel to him?

Li Susu being fake, cruel, heartless, dishonest for 32 episodes now.
Writers really kinda messed up Li Susu's character. She's too cruel and heartless and Tantai Jin is too pitiful and toxic obsessed with her.
He loves her too much and she doesn't love him enough, if she even does, because I can't feel any love from her for him. The most I do feel is guilt from her, but love? Not really.

Really wished the writers would have made Tantai Jin more ruthless and not so pitiful. If they made him more like the novel, I wouldn't feel so bad for him nor dislike Li Susu that much. Or they could've soften her up a bit, so that it's well balanced, but at this point, I just feel truly bad for Tantai Jin. At least he's honest with his feelings and tries to communicate, but she's still the same. No character development whatsoever. Will we ever get a nice word out of Li Susu for Tantai Jin? -_-

Song Hye Kyo's dramas Now, We Are Breaking Up and Encounter. The Glory as well, before it was aired and became a hit. She always gets groundless hate for having younger male leads as costars.
