TPGTL demands desperation to watch it. The comments in this case aren't whining hard enough. Suggestion: rewatch…
Great idea! Sometimes I watch reaction videos of my favorite dramas. It’s fun to watch new fans watch old shows. lol

So good! it’s the first time I’ve seen a heroine like this. I’m at episode 20 and can only guess at the truth. How will I make it to episode 40?!

kdrama peaked in 2000s for me so you're right about that lol
The look is giving me Full House, but with slightly better production value. lol

This reminds me of Kdramas in the mid 2000s! If you aren’t expecting the higher production of Only for Love or a more moving drama like First Frost then this is perfectly fine.

this description reminds me of “Brocade Odyssey.”

I was thinking of watching this because I liked the lead actress in "Love Scout," but from the comments the drama doesn't seem like it's worth it. I'm in a K/C/Jdrama slump right now, but I don't think I'm this desperate yet. lol

The ending was confusing. I'm glad it wasn't a first tier show for me. I skimmed it when I had nothing else to watch.

TTR - The Truth Review Apr 22, 2026
My goodness, thank you for the summary! I like the lead actors but see that the show is trash. I’m sure there’s some audience that enjoys this, but I’m looking for a phoenix FL who rises from the ashes. it’s supposed to be inspiring, not depressing.

No lie. It's getting a little easier with Amazon Prime, Viki, and Netflix. Netflix is pulling really old Japanese…
I agree, but they can broadcast globally while not accepting production deals with the likes of Netflix and Disney. If it's a "take it or leave it" deal then Japanese shows can maintain their artistic integrity. lol

Japanese don't really make it easy do they to see their content SIGHHHHHHH
No lie. It's getting a little easier with Amazon Prime, Viki, and Netflix. Netflix is pulling really old Japanese shows, but they are providing something which is better than nothing. But I've yet to find an app dedicated to Japanese shows (in English).

After those ups and downs with her former talent agency, i thought her career is more or less over. She is young…
In what world does she have a filmography and career like she's had and it end over one talent agency? AND she had a hit with Love's Ambition? She'll be fine.

This drama is dragging for me primarily because the SIL villain is straight up from the mid 2000s. We know she's going to torture them all then get a redemption arc at the end. Her daughter will find out she's been an AH the whole time then turn against her. That's when the mother will change.

Honestly, I need a good Chinese drama. I miss "Love's Ambition."

The extra bit in the final episode wasn’t needed at all. I don’t know why it was added. And it made me hope that they aren’t going to tell another lie.

So, did her husband know the "important details" about her before they got married? Is he also in on the "situation"?
