am I the only one who really liked LTG calling Yang Ying informally at near cave? they are basically martial brother and sister under Ruyi's tutelage. I really like how he is trying to take care of her. It is the third time he has threatened anyone trying to harm her.
ep 34... As always heart wrenching. But I had actually two technical problems. first, the background music for some scenes was really unsuitable. it actually threw me out of the mood the moment the music was played. also, what was with that background light when they kissed???? I was suddenly reminded of Kunning Palace! I was blinded seriously! Other than these two, everything else was as perfect as always. I can't wait for express. Does anyone know the time it is released?
I can't express how happy I am to know the express package is out soon!! I couldn't handle another three days of wait. seriously, I want to know the ending before continuing the rest of the episodes!!! It's so unnerving!!!
I'm beginning to think Ruyi really has a hand in LTG going unhinged... seriously, this second time around if he doesn't go lunatic I will be surprised. At least warn the guy it is all act!!
If LTG's obsession would go away that quickly, then it wouldn't be called 'obsession' just an attraction or infatuation. I think it is pretty logical for writer to keep him in character. he is still the same obsessive brat, the only difference is he took Ning's advice not to act on his obsession in a harmful way to Ruyi. it is already a great fit (if it lasts!). so while I too want his obsessive arc to end, it would actually be shallow to end his obsession with just a few words and water dunking. If I have to guess he will remain unreconciled until Ruyi&Ning officially elope. then he will know he has no chances and perhaps then we see his political arc with YY. as for YSS and CY. it isn't love yet. but the attraction was mutual and she can be infatuated. we are all familiar with the term 'rebound' so it is actually pretty normal for her to be attracted to YSS. in fact I didn't see a reason for CY and LTG to be CP. he treated her awfully! she too wasn't anything but a spoiled brat toward LTG. I don't see how her falling for LTG is logical but her attraction to YSS raises questions. If anything, her interaction with YSS was very cute.
I really enjoy Ruyi and Ning's dynamic here. everything is in a smooth flow. they really act like a proper couple and with undergoing interactions that are so normal and effortless. no forced romance scene inserted in the middle of another scene just to remind audience they are a couple or it is a romance genre too. everything is intertwined and there is no unnecessary drama. I actually enjoy their day to day interactions. It is something I don't see often in Cdrama even in romance genre. There is always sudden scenes or melodramatic, over the top scenes added just to remind the audience: 'hey, by the way, they are a couple now! be happy!' everything is so natural and mature here. I also enjoy the squad's interactions. they aren't excessive or come in a way that borderlines rude. I actually watched a couple episodes of 'Love me, Love my voice' and couldn't help comparing that ML's friends with the squad here, and they came out really rude and excessive to me. it was really annoying and uncomfortable the way they blatantly teased and a really out of line for first meeting. In contrast I can't help laugh and giggle every time the squad comes in scene here to tease and joke with Ning and YSS. I'm looking forward to YSS love line too. it was really unique and funny start for his relationship in ep 30 and kinda really how YSS should fall in love. it is in line with his carefree and playboy character. I can't wait for all episodes to drop and PLZ PLZ be happy ending for NingXRuyi and YSS
