I was a KSH's fan before, and I totally stopped being his fan after what was revealed. In case of XK, none of the supposed "allegations" are even bad, at least, they won't deter me even if proven true.

Dating, Cheating, Gambling, while all are frowned upon, I'm not looking at them as a deal-breaker for me. I mean, I grew up watching Bollywood and Hollywood actors, and they have had worse allegations including, but not limited to, drug abuse. Gambling and cheating are a common occurrence, and they never were a deal-breaker for me before, and will not be now.
As long as the actor I'm supporting isn't involved in Domestic Abuse/Violence, Sexual Abuse/Violence, Rape, Murder, Pedophilia, Grooming Minors, Child/Human Trafficking, I'm good.

In conclusion, I don't believe whatever is being said is true. But even if proven true, and I find it highly unlikely, I will still stand by Xu Kai.

Let me expand on this. I think after seeing this wave today, I suddenly realized that 😂

According to this, Xu Lisha and the paparazzi Yang Yang who had been to the police station colluded, fabricated charges one by one, and bought hot searches + water army + push on major platforms for half a month. Judging from this phenomenon:

1. The two little Luo Luos are incapable of doing such a thing that costs a lot of money. There must be financial backers + guidance behind these two, including (but not limited to) the one who keeps publishing red drafts every time Xu Kai has negative entries, and the others are to be determined.

2. The purpose behind it is to never give up. If Xu Kai can be killed, there will be no chance of leaving him alive. That attitude shows that there will be no mercy. Once they know any negative information, they will do their best to exaggerate and publicize it.

This means that ⚠️👉 the current rumors and revelations surrounding Xu Kai are the most scathing accusations his rivals have managed to fabricate after exhausting all available resources and meticulously investigating Xu Kai’s life over the past 30 years. 🤔

Therefore, we need to look at this revelation from the other side. 👉 In other words, this is a comprehensive and in-depth examination of Xu Kai’s moral character by Xu Kai’s rivals, the true industry insiders, the “pig fans,” encompassing both his present and past.

The findings are as follows:

1. Xu Kai has no current girlfriend.
If they could find any trace of Xu Kai’s current or recent romantic relationship, they wouldn’t need to find a woman who only had contact with Xu Kai three years ago to impersonate his current girlfriend to gain traffic.

2. Xu Lisha and Xu Kai were never in a relationship.

Because the woman’s intention was clearly to kill him, if they could find such evidence, they could have given it to the “hat guy” and had Xu Kai imprisoned. Why wait until today? Since they’ve waited until today and still have no evidence, it means 😂 they’ve worked so hard to no avail. So, don’t believe the groundless online rumors about him being extravagant. Competing investors have spent at least two weeks researching him and can’t find any evidence of this happening.

4. Xu Kai has no financial backing; he’s just an ordinary worker who doesn’t manipulate public opinion.
Everyone knows this platform. With a little effort, it’s easy to expose trivial matters or suppress earth-shattering ones. Anyone with a backer, even Yu Wai, has the power to suppress rumors based on endless “chat logs” without any real evidence, or to mobilize an army of online influencers to sway public opinion and protect an actor’s reputation. But Xu Kai has been the subject of rumors for two weeks now, and aside from the usual methods of reporting to the police and filing a lawsuit, there’s been no effort to control public opinion. This shows he lacks the financial backing, his boss doesn’t care about his reputation, and he has no dealings with the online platform.
Therefore, he doesn’t have the power to manipulate public opinion and deceive his fans. The good and bad things we see of him are all real.

5. Xu Kai’s movements: when he’s not on set, he’s at home.
According to the rumormongers, the location where they accuse Xu Kai of “playing cards together, with sums not exceeding four figures” is either on set or at his home. The lack of any other locations suggests Xu Kai rarely went anywhere after work, as he was 😂😂 on the set of Starlight. We all know that Xu Kai was monitored daily by colleagues, influencers, paparazzi, and passersby, day and night, but no unusual entertainment activities were observed. He was constantly working.
Xu Kai’s home is a private residence, and unless there was an illegal intrusion, it would be impossible for anyone to know what had happened. The whistleblower’s need to repeatedly emphasize their alleged evidence of “six thousand” and “two thousand” (note the repetition, because if there were more, or they dared to fabricate a larger amount, they wouldn’t limit themselves to this), suggests that even if Xu Kai played cards with friends at home, it was likely only once or twice at most. A persistent claim is absurd.
This further confirms that Xu Kai and Lisha Xu are not in a relationship. If my boyfriend is a long-time card player, he wouldn’t have played with his girlfriend only once. And if my boyfriend lost money playing cards with me, wouldn’t I be so proud that I asked him to double the money and even return it? This is the inconsistency of the rumor.

6. Xu Kai didn’t feel guilty about the revelations. He didn’t bribe the rumormongers or give in to them to appease them.
The accusations were overwhelming, and there were so many charges that could land him in jail. If even one of them were true, logically speaking, the perpetrator would have tried to appease the whistleblower, either by giving in or using the 💰.
Judging by the rumormongers’ increasingly frantic and relentless attacks, it’s clear they weren’t being listened to. So, frustrated and angry, they’ve racked their brains to try new angles. Finding their previous attempts ineffective, they’ve proven Xu Lisha’s accusations false.

There are actually many more loopholes, but I don’t want to analyze them; it’s too naive.

When I first saw this revelation, I was a little nervous. Ever since I started fandom, I’ve known that we live in an era of online information overload and intense control over public opinion. If Xu Kai has financial backing, I wouldn’t mind. It’s entertainment, just seeing a handsome guy. But deeper down, I’m still a little worried that the person I like is just a concept created by the magic of capital, not a real person. I’d feel like I’m being underappreciated. But this incident actually made me see many things clearly, including my care for Xu Kai, his situation, the fans who follow each other, Xu Kai’s character, and the changes that the efforts of the past seven years have brought to him and his fan circle.
In fact, while I was filled with emotion, I gradually felt very relieved, because he did not let me down, and I did not misjudge him. Our seemingly shaky little circle is also more firm and resilient than I had imagined.

KSH was grooming a minor, and what XLS is accusing XK of is just cheating on her, if you want to believe it. And there's plenty of reasons to not believe in it. The most important one being: She herself admitted that she was pulling a prank on Xu Kai.
Before that, she hasn't even produced a single piece of evidence.
The "evidence" she posted was taken from Xu Kai's friends circle, which she herself admitted. So it's basically nothing.

Don't make wild speculations. Use some common sense, it's not hard.

That was a different case, and I actually defended FL from those who hated her for it. You can open WOL page now and still see some recent comments still up where I was defending FL.

The case was different because FL and ML were on different sides during warring times. Although she might not agree with her fake brother's actions, she still would have to consider her army over her feelings for ML, and the fake brother made a sound argument for his actions. For more context on why she blamed ML for the fake brother's death, please go to WOL's drama page, scroll down to comments section, find any comment blaming FL's actions in that scene recently, and you will find my comment down below explaining FL's POV on it.

Now on to WZ in this drama, WZS has killed demons and did a bunch of other evil stuff. It's not just killing enemies, it's also killing their own people kind of stuff.

I mean, that's exactly my point. FL in WOL did not know her fake brother's evil deeds when he was assumed dead in ep 16-17, so it is understandable she mourned him.
After she found out about his evil deeds, she cut ties, and did not mourn him when he died saving her life, again (although, one could argue that she was in that situation because of what he did).

The drama did very well on several charts. On viewing charts too, it only lagged behind Thriving Land. Xu Kai and Tian Xiwei ranked always in top 3. Xu Kai also just now topped over 120m popularity on Tencent, he is now ranked #7 on overall Tencent ranking this year. He just beat WHD's Dafeng character popularity on Tencent.

I think both the drama and Xu Kai did pretty well, and the intended damage was not caused. Yeah, only downside being, Xu Kai had to go silent on the internet.

I'm really glad the "prank" didn't have much impact on the drama's success.

Some people spent real money (like it should be in millions) to buy all top 10 trend searches and water army to bring him and the drama down, but it all amounted to nothing in the end.

Lol, I almost read it as "Hear! hear! oh DEMON lords!"

Just finished with the drama, finally.

Positives: Cinematography, VFX, Production Design, Great Acting by all actors, and in most cases, Great Directing too.
Negatives: Script, Editing, and, in a few cases, Directing.

Alright, the drama started out really good, and it was very good for most of the time, except for a few hiccups here and there that can be forgivable. But it went downhill in the last arc, which starts right after the amnesia arc concludes.

Too much information dump with too little to show for.. and as they say, great dramas show, not tell.. and all we got was a whole lot of exposition with very little to show for.

One thing that really pissed me off was how little screentime MZY got in the last 3-4 episodes. He was barely in it. And my complaint is not exactly because Xu Kai, as the main lead, is being treated unfairly, no, it's because there was a lot left to unpack between MZY and WZ before they jump into the final arc.

MZY and WZ were separated right before the amnesia arc, and we all agree that it was because they had poor communication, and the trust between them was also fragile. So, I was really expecting MZY and WZ to resolve their past misunderstanding with better communication and trust between them. But nah, as soon as MZY was back, not a minute later, he dies.

And while the last 3-4 episodes answered a lot of questions, they also left us with many unresolved loose ends.
Like, what kind of demon is MZY now? It's not explained at all. When MZY comes back from the past, and he was about to rescue WZ from the prison, WZ says, "Only Demon Lords can open the prison", and then MZY opens it up. So, does that mean he is also a Demon Lord now? Just like WZ and Snake Lord? So, if we already have WZ as Cat Lord, what is MZY with the same cat powers (as we have seen in the last scene?) If he is also a Demon Lord, does he also live as long as WZ now? There's a few other loose ends, too, but I won't delve too much into it. But all these loose ends, if not resolved, one would expect them to be answered in an upcoming season, which we, unfortunately, do not have. So, why not resolve them? They could have 40 episodes, it's not much to film two more episodes and tie all loose ends, right?

And that WZS. Really a total waste of a time. And this is where I really blame the director, the scriptwriter, and the editors for not doing their job well.
For scriptwriters; why introduce this character when he literally contributes absolutely nothing to the core story?
I said it before, and I will say it again, his character only exists to disgust viewers to death. And that's the only thing WZS character has accomplished.
And to the director and editor; since you know this character is adding absolutely nothing to the story, why film at all. And if filmed, why not edit his scenes?
And what do you mean by WZ crying her heart out when WZS dies lol. And this is despite her knoweldge of everything he has done. Killing so many demons, and all of other evil stuff, I would be disgusted with him, and she did say he disgusts her, but her actions do not show any disgust at all lol.
This is where I bring one of my favorite Xu Kai c-dramas - Wonderland of Love.
We also have an obsessive creep childhood who loves FL in that drama. FL sees him as a brother, a brother who saved her life many times, a brother who also takes her identity to protect her family (her father announced to the world he had a son, not a daughter, and this obsessive creep takes her place to act as the son, and she is grateful for it). Anyhow, in the middle of the drama, not at the end, she finds out how evil he was and cuts ties with him. In the final arc, he sacrifices his life to save hers. When FL finds out, she doesn't even bat an eye.

But it's not all bad when it comes to the last 3-4 episodes. There is one good thing, that is, when MZY was dying, WZ says something to the effect of "I'm sorry. You promised me a lifetime of love, while I only promised you a fleeting moment of my life. I'm sorry I couldn't match up to you."
It really surprised me that a FL in a C-drama is openly admitting that her love for ML is inferior to ML's love for her. I mean, most C-dramas you can see the same, but FL's of those dramas do not admit those facts and nor do they apologize for it.

Anyhow, although the drama, in the end, left me a bit disappointed, I am still giving it a 10/10. For all the hard work of cast and crew, and I did love the drama for the most part, except for the last 3-4 episodes. Also, taking into account that a lot of haters downrated this drama that is barely hanging onto the 8.0 rating, I'd rather let it be 10/10. As much as I was disappointed, I still think this drama deserves a solid 8.2-8.5 rating out of 10.

And that's about it. I had a good time discussing this drama with many of you guys.

PS: Strongly hoping that Xu Kai and Tian Xiwei do a modern drama soon!! Loved their chemistry.

It's just, it's a pity for the international distribution. Linmon probably made good money with the distribution, but it's the international platforms and the international fans that got screwed over big time!!

So, whatever opinion you have of the drama, at end of the day, the drama did good business.

Everyone made good money, otherwise, they would have dragged this drama until next week.

Nah, that scandal doesn't mean anything especially since the girl herself came out and declared she was just playing a prank. Even if she didn't say it, the police were already going to take care of that.

I mean, it is telling the actor playing WZS hasn't promoted the drama much. He must be quite embarrassed.

And to some people who are saying that the drama team is trying to promote WJT (actor portraying WZS), this isn't promoting him, this is more like someone is out to destroy his career. And he's a very good ML material. I have watched two of his dramas, and loved him.

Why A'Shu had to die? I'm sure even A'Shu doesn't know why he had to die. Or even the scriptwriters.

He's literally the most pointless character of this drama. Serves no other purpose but to annoy us viewers.
Like, you can remove his character completely out of the picture, and the core story would remain the same. Just less of an annoyance.

And this why I'm a bit disappointed by the ending. Lot's of unanswered questions to call it a resolution.

But I saw a post on Twitter where it says that Xu Kai spoke about a possible second season. And we know second seasons don't work out in c-dramas unless they shot the whole thing together.
