I really love the conversations between NXG and LYS. They flow so naturally, especially with all the "harmless flirting" woven in.
The last time I felt this kind of effortless chemistry in a leading pair’s interactions was when I watched the Before trilogy—Before Sunrise (1995), Before Sunset (2004), and Before Midnight (2013). Highly recommended.
Honestly, I could watch ten full episodes of nothing but the two of them talking, and I wouldn’t get bored for a second.
This. He never confessed to FL, never even gave her hope. He always scolded her about her wealthy background &…
I know, I'm just mocking the narrative saying that SML's been dropping some subtle hints to FL that he's also into her and somehow she has to figure it out. It's ridiculous.

Oh hey, nice seeing you here!I also interpreted the scene similar way as you did when I watched it in the teaser…
Same, love Hank Voight. But my favorite is The Rookie. It's a lot of fun (also Chenford!!!). When I'm in the mood for something gritty, Chicago PD is the show. And if I need the feel to watch something that makes me feel like I'm home, it's Chicago Fire.
Yes, having the author also screen-write for the drama really works if the author can actually screen-write. Gu Man has been doing this for years, so it looks like she's got the hang of it.

I've been off c-dramas for a while and got back into American tv shows (The Rookie, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD) for a few months.
Stocked up about three of c-dramas I was interested in in the meantime and I have watched them all last month. So, this drama is basically the first c-drama I am watching live in months since Moonlit Reunion.
Although I haven't read the novel, this novel has been on my radar for the past 5-6 years. I have come across the first part of the novel (the part in which SML is the ML, and ML is the SML, or at least, that's how it was portrayed) on Novel Updates. I read the reviews where they said FL ends up with SML (Yusen), not the ML (Xu), and that there's a second part yet to come out. I thought I'd wait for the second part and read the whole thing.
Then the second part came out, and it turns out, SML (Yusen) becomes the ML, and ML (Xu) becomes the SML, and I thought that's cool, thought I would give it a read, but unfortunately the novel turns out to be in first person perspective. I don't prefer this format, so I let go.
Thankfully, the drama was announced not long after, and I've been waiting for it ever since!!
im confused why the male lead even likes the female lead cuz like he just had one glance and this was like a whole…
I'm actually more confused why FL likes SML so much; the guy refuses her, ignores her, belittles her, has an ambiguous relationship with her roommate, and the list goes on.
On the ML side, actually it's more believable. He likes her, then thanks to his friend's misunderstanding he thinks she also likes him. Then confusion and anger because FL doesn't recognise him.
Let's move Wonderland of Love up on the list. Give it your #1 vote.Ancient Love Poetry is on the second page.…
One of the main reasons why I could never watch any of TJC's dramas is thanks to CL. 😂
I mean, nothing against the actor, he played his part. But I just couldn't get over his character in CL; whenever I attempt to watch his other dramas, I just can't get the image of Prince Zhou out my mind. It's fucked up, so I totally gave up trying now. A pity though, it looks like he's starred in some pretty good dramas.
All the guys are handsome, which one are you referring to?
Watch 'Time And Him Are Just Right', he's the main lead, starring opposite LYX (I believe this is her first drama starring as the main lead). Also recommend 'You Are My Lover Friend'. He's a second lead with his own romance plot. Most people enjoyed second leads romance over the main leads (not me though).

I'll just jump into ep 10 now.

This drama is basically 5-6 years of my waiting fulfilled lol. More about it in this comment I posted yesterday:
