I only checked ep 37 a bit, just to make sure I did not miss the pregnancy scene. I thought maybe they gave the pregnancy scene a bit earlier and I probably missed it. That way, I got to know Shu guy dies in that episode.

They barely had any real sweet moments in the whole drama.
Definitely no 'Doting' from FL's side as well lol.

Xu Kai paired up with Bai Lu in two dramas at the start of his career, had dating rumours with her (which were debunked), which lead to a scandal (also debunked), and since then he didn't pair up any other actress twice. He did pair up with WJY in another drama, but he wasn't the ML the first time he got paired up with her.

Personally, I would encourage you to give this drama a chance. Maybe watch 4-5 episodes and see if it works for you.
