Oh, they can quite harsh regarding subs. They rate the drama down if Viki does not have the drama in their language subs.

If a drama is rated around 9.6 on Viki, then it can considered to be one of the top dramas.

I don't think he meant financial support, more like any support she needs. He is a bystander not only because he couldn't help her in her endeavors, but also because she rejected his confession citing the reason that she needs to get her company in a better position. She is leaving their dates, did not support him in his difficult times, and so on. This was well built up in the novel, and I think although they rushed it here, it wasn't that bad.

It is a fact that he became a bystander in her life. At her beck and call when she is free, discarded when she is busy with her company (in his pov).

The break up was well earned in the novel. It wasn't rushed like in the drama, it took full 30 chapters of build up.

The drama rushed it, and it kind of put the bf character in a wrong spot in audience's pov. While in the novel, Ji Xing was at most fault for the break up.

iirc, she had to cut her hair for a movie she filmed before this drama. Hence the short hair.

Same, but I always go back and rewatch the whole thing once it's all up.
