If you click on the rating, you can see the drama already has people who rated it as Completed. Probably thanks to a glitch in the app they launched. You can actually mark the drama as Completed on the app and rate it. smh

MDL seriously needs to put a stop to haters spam-rating the drama (and I am not saying all those who rated the drama down are haters). These haters of XK, probably there are only 10-20 of them with numerous fake accounts (how do I know this? well, one of them, very proudly even, admitted to it on Sword and Fairy MDL), have spam-rated his previous dramas. They are doing the same thing over here.

It's the other way around. Her boyfriend is going to break up with her in episode 9 as per the teasers.

I came across that poster in at least 5-6 other c-drama pages on MDL. The poster posted similar comments there too. I wonder, if the poster has such bad impression of c-dramas, why bother watching them at all?
It's not c-dramas that are problematic anymore, it's that poster who is problematic.

Oh yeah, I agree. Always pisses me off where SML or SFL feel entitled that the ML or the FL should reciprocate their feelings. I have personally not witnessed any such behaviour in real life, though.

For me, Bros before Hoes is everything, actually. I have had a crush on a woman, and then I find out my good friend has been pursuing her seriously. I instantly lost any feelings I had for her. They didn't end up together, but I didn't take this opportunity to give it a shot, because
1. Bros before Hoes. Even if it didn't work out, my friend would still feel betrayed if I gave it a go.
2. I wasn't interested in her anymore.

What makes you think that their conversation in Germany in the novel won't play out as it is in the drama?

"In dramas, you don't assume things" says the person who is doing the exact same thing, assuming.

Same is the case in the novel. He hasn't liked anyone but FL. But he has been with other women.

ML stayed in Germany for long period of time, do you think he wasn't with any other women? In the novel FL and ML end up going to Germany. There FL asks ML if he had been with any caucasians, and he said yes. He was also in a friends with benefits relationship with Zeng Di in the novel. They changed that in the drama, but it doesn't mean he hasn't been with anyone else.

Who said ML is a virgin, lol? He certainly wasn't a virgin in the novel. And we don't know if he is a virgin or not here, but why should we care, is my question.

Why are people so vested in ML and FL virginity anyways? What difference does it make, especially in this day and age?

Li Li really stole the show in the recent episodes. Loving this character, definitely an improvement from the novel in this case.

The actress playing Tu Xiaomeng is also very impressive.

I actually pity Wei Qiuzi. She just has a crush on her best friend's boyfriend, but isn't acting on it. She is also trying her best to help the couple in her own way. But seeing how people here are critical of her made me realise one thing: whenever I see the same situation play out with ML's bestfriend having crush on FL, it always annoyed the hell out of me, meanwhile female audience found these best friends pitiful and felt sad for them. Yeah, feels good to be on the other side now, for a change.

Miscommunication is not the issue anymore. They now have different goals, and if they communicate, one or both of them will have to make concessions. And these concessions in turn will burn their feelings and they will eventually separate.
