Guys, I think we’re not fully realizing just how much of a red flag the ML actually is. What makes it even scarier is that he isn’t upfront about it. He’s like one of those typical rich guys with power irl who can literally make or break your future. And the funny thing is he knows he is being manipulative and shit and still has no remorse whatsoever. He first off has a weird dynamic going around with the fl and his ex or whatever. For me, the perfect ending would be for the FL to leave him and stand on her own which, thankfully, she’s doing a great job at so far. Don’t get me wrong, the chemistry is definitely there, but it’s toxic and manipulative, and the fl is better off alone. But, we signed for this so might as well enjoy the sheer manipulation game.
The the old guy is definitely not dead because if he was, they would've showed us the scene where he actually shot himself along with his dead body. Also, they would've allowed her to atleast look at him after he shot himself, which they didn't and only the lawyer knows what happened in the room. The old guy and the lawyer are definitely hiding the real plan from her.

Um... That's the whole point. The reason they're doing this is to find the evidence for the murder. If they save themselves or rather hide in a fortress, away from the real culprits, nothing's gonna change and they'll never get their revenge.
Even though the plot is cliché, it’s so well written and executed. The pacing is ridiculously good. I’m getting chills and the ultimate thriller vibe from this, even though we’re just one episode in. I wonder how they’ll execute the romance, that will really make or break the series for me. As for the acting, Yeo Been has always been a strong actor, so I’m not surprised. I'm not convinced about her being a bodyguard lol but we'll see. The side characters are also really fleshed out from what they've shown so far. I'm hyped!!

The only questionable thing Usagi did was going back to Borderlands, and yeah, that’s a fair point to criticize. They could have polished the reason and gave her a bigger motivation to return. But I don’t think it’s enough to call her entire character dogshit. In every game this season, she was still the same badass who is brave, kind, and ridiculously strong, just like in the earlier seasons. So while I get why the reason for her return felt lame, I don’t think it ruined her arc or the season as a whole. To each their own, though.

Hating this season just because of one “lame” reason, like why Usagi even bothered to go back to Borderlands, feels so forced. People are just looking for excuses to hate on this show. I mean guys, this is fiction, they had to go back at some point. Instead of mulling over why she went there, just enjoy the season bruh. It’s not like this one reason completely defies logic and ruins an otherwise good season. Come on now, take fiction as fiction. Characters will always do questionable things so that we can actually enjoy the story. The only fair criticism here is that the characters aren't as fleshed out but even then, given the number of episodes, they did a great job

I still am quite disappointed about the final lineup. I think some deserving boys didn't get to debut and some undeserving or rather less deserving(since it's a competition) got the place. Well, i won't name drop but I just don't like when people get the position on a silver platter based on looks alone even if they have a certain history of wrong and problematic doings.
I personally don’t feel any sort of connection with them the way I did with ZB1 and honestly, I’m not surprised. The last season felt wholesome, and you could actually sense the chemistry between the boys. Here, it’s just… a competition. Nothing inherently wrong with that, but the end result is that it feels like a plain survival show, nothing more. That said, these boys did work hard, and I do hope they get all the love. They are really talented and will hopefully improve along the way.
Guys, it’s actually really good. If I had to rank the seasons, it would be 3 < 1 < 2. But this season still delivered what it needed to. Sure, it was milked but the real problem would’ve been if the show had turned out to be trash, with no new lore or fresh games. Insteadit was the complete opposite.
The games were absolute bangers, and while the characters weren’t as strong as in the previous seasons, they were still likable and kept the story engaging. My recommendation is to go in with lower expectations and watch this as just a show, not the definitive Alice in borderland. If you do that, you’ll enjoy it much more.
Personally, I think if there had been more episodes we would’ve gotten deeper character development.It was worth watching, and I think people are mainly criticizing it because this season wasn’t really “needed” which is fair. But honestly, I love me some Alice in Borderland. Even if they made 10 extra seasons that weren’t necessary, I’d still eat them up.
