From a veteran viewer of âadults unexpectedly forced into babysittingâ stories, I just know this will be the most heartwarming, funny, chaotic drama of the year, and I havenât even watched it yet. I guess you could call it foreshadowing⊠I guess you could.
I love how the chemistry feels very real here. Even the non-romantic interactions are super cute and healthy. The last dating show that made me feel this way was "His Man S2". My favourite ship would be William and Izaya. I love how real and honest they are with each other, and it's clear why they are the way they are. They aren't afraid to come out as flawed on camera, which I think is very brave. I was a little put off by William at first because he felt very playboy-ish. But the more he talked about himself, the more authentic he seemed, which is very admirable. I like the rest of the cast. They seem very warm and kind. I want everyone to get their happy endings, but that's a bit too unrealistic lol. Still, I hope they all walk away with friends for life after the show.
idk man, just don't be such a blatant liar and deny every little thing that is remotely related to him. If she had come clean and said "yes, I'm your fan" and kept the obsessive and parasocial part hidden, things would've been way easier to manage. the amount of second hand embarrassment I got from that scene was literally cramping.
I like the casting. Who would you rather have in the show?
Navier: Jun Ji-hyun / Song Hye Kyo/Kim Ok-vin/ Han Hyo Joo/jeon yeo been/escom/ lee el Sovieshu: Ji Sung Heinrey: Ji Chang Wook/Park Hyung Sik/ Song Kang(if he were a better actor, but best visually). Lee Jong Suk is good, but I personally think there were better choices Rashta: Seo Yea-ji/Kim Tae Ri/Kim Hye Yoon, but I like Lee Se Young here too
Depression is a bish, I swear. Once it latches onto you, it attracts every other negative thing like a magnet. And this man? He was going through it even before he completed his primary education. Imagine being the cash cow of these incompetent "adults". Idk if the ml became comfortable with it or not, but he definitely adapted to it. And I think the adaptability snapped the day his best friend died. Itâs a solid representation of his personality, tho. But I lowkey pity the fl, like wdym she is his attorney AND his therapist? My girl is literally cleaning up all of the mess.
I'm lowk eyeing the manager and the members as potential suspects.
I have a very unrelated question but really would like to know. in many Asian dramas, winter time grils tend to…
i think itâs more about the styling in dramas, which often isnât very realistic compared to what people actually wear in real life. Some women do love dressing up in winter too, but itâs not an everyday thing. Stylists, especially in chinese dramas, often prioritize aesthetics over realism so..
tbh the only thing I found cliche or disappointing was that her best friend had feelings for her, which in itself is quite common irl, but it's SO overused in dramas that I find it tiring. I genuinely thought that the writers were keeping them as just friends, but alas. Apart from that, I love this drama, especially the dynamic between the leads. The misunderstanding was also thankfully not dragged on for TOO long, which I was worried about.
