Listen, I am all for retribution but you need to understand that this is fiction. In real world he should be locked…
Oh don't worry, I am all for a happy ending. I have read the novel and I know how it ends and I am still watching it cause I also want a happy ending. All I am saying is that it's too early to be calling for forgiveness
And it's actually not even funny because, upon reflection, You Shu Lang never did anything to warrant such scheming and betrayal. His car hitting Fan Xiao's that day was purely an accident. Fan Xiao wasn't even hurt, and Shu Lang's insurance covered the damages. Yet, Fan Xiao had his goons hurt him because of that incident, and that wasn't enough—he led his boyfriend on, made him break up with Shu Lang, plotted to drug Shu Lang, recorded it on his car's dashcam, stored it on his system, and even used it inappropriately. On top of that, he had Shu Lang sexually assaulted. So, no amount of redemption can make him the good guy. No amount of suffering can make him pitiful. I know we're all into toxic Yaoi, but let's not confuse harmful behavior with romance. I'm seeing some accounts on FB suggesting Shu Lang should forgive him because he was "just in love," and that is nonsense. May this kind of love find all of you in Jesus' name. ðŸ˜
What's even vexing me is that he is still lying even after being caught like when is the lies going to stop? Shebi I don tell una say make una no dey fall in love again 😂
Something about Chinese BL/bromance casting being perfect all the damn time like I've never seen a ship from China that doesn't eat! Be it bromance or BL
Shirasaki is being manipulative. That's exactly what I thought when he made the whole role offer thing about himself.
"Ofcourse, the offer from the UK is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Ofcourse many people want that. But is he trying to guiltrip Asami because he said he might reject it? Shirasaki is seeing the flashiness of that role but he's not seeing the pain it'll inflict in Asami if Asami says yes. I would expect him to look beyond the glamour and see how much Asami is hurting, how much he was hurt by his father. It is not just a book written by his father, it is Asami's reality. It is well within his right to say no to an offer that'll make him uncomfortable. Accepting and playing that role could potentially inflict more trauma on his mental health but obviously, Shirasaki doesn't care about that. All he cares about is standing on equal footing with Asami." This was really my thought initially ðŸ˜
Even when he asked Asami to do what he wants instead of what his mom or dad wants, it still did not make a difference. I really do think Asami deserves better.
Shirasaki's actions in this episode really bothered me. If I were in a relationship, I'd be more mindful of personal boundaries. Like, why would you let someone wipe something on your lips without flinching? Or sit next to them instead of your partner? It felt like he was being too comfortable with Kuroki.
And then he had the nerve to accuse Asami of being jealous. I think Asami deserves better than someone so oblivious. Even Yamase seemed to notice something was off but you, the boyfriend was asking him "You did not have fun?" Like your boyfriend is obviously depressed, going through a lot emotionally and you don't know a damn thing about it. Lol
They never made it to the Other Shore but they are never going to be pawns again. They might not be able to walk in the sunlight at the moment but eventually, they'll cast away their shadows.

I loved this season more than S1 and yes, I want a S3 ðŸ˜
